    My dogs are 13 years old. Their idea of a long walk is out to the yard to pee and back. A total of about 30 feet.

    They are both heavily into napping.

    I have yet to convince the cat that it is possible to walk while wearing a leash and harness.

    I don't have a dog, but the neighbor is happy to have me go out walking with theirs while they are at work.

    I take my dog to local dog parks and I walk laps while he plays with other dogs. That way we both get a work out.
