My biggest challenge is eating healthy all the time4
-
sometimes I get lazy and don't want to meal prep/go workout.2
-
I like sweet things.3
-
seasons. I rock the spring and summer but really struggle with winter. We have a long, cold winter here in the prairies and I tend to gain 10-20lbs every winter. Spring hits and I work my butt off to get back down to where i left off in the fall. Not a game I want to play but this is the third year in a row....grrrr1

Being patient. Wouldn't it great if we could all meet our goals overnight8
-
I crave chocolate. I have to stay out of the store1
-
Involving other people. I'm bad at saying no to friends and family members.1
-
Eating out. We don't eat at chain restaurants so I have a harder time estimating the calories of what I order. I suspect part of the reason I'm losing more easily now is because my husband and I rarely eat out anymore. I used to eat out quite a bit when still by myself. I miss it though...1

Alcoholic beverages. I make mean cocktails but exercise endorphins have me reaching for alcohol much less as a stress reliever.1

Meeting my protein goals while staying in my calorie goals. Id rather eat carbs, but know that eating enough protein will help maintain my lbm while in a deficit.3

I love eating food.1

Great responses so what would it take to make you eat healthy at least 90% of the time?0
-
I love calorie-dense foods.2
-
Sweet things. Harder when you live with people that fill up the kitchen with sweets. So much willpower required hahah1
-
I just love food way too much. I would eat healthy 100% of the time if I had a personal gourmet chef making delicious, healthy foods . Instead I'm stuck with my own non-gourmet cooking2

making the best food choices definitely.0

Also, I'm not too great about keeping up on exercise0

Balancing social life + healthy lifestyle activities. I am on point 98% of the time if I remove myself from the social scene, i.e., I wake at 5am, I track all my food, I drink a gallon of water a day, I get some sort of physical activity in, I eat clean (no dairy, alcohol, sugar, processed foods), and go to bed around 930 to get at minimum 7.5 hours of sleep.
But, I am the "OMG did you call Mawdestmeri to go out with us" girl bc I can totally bring the fun (hehehe). But, it throws me off-kilter and takes me WEEKS to get back into a routine
It's hard to strike that balance but I am slowly learning how to say "No" when I need to!2 -

The way I feel definitely. Eating better (according to my own personal definition) really helps with my energy level and my moods. Even then, eating healthy 90% of the time is a bit much for me. I'm probably closer to 80%.1 -
I love chips. Especially hot cheetos with hot sauce, very hard to quit those!0
-
My hunger level when i've been hitting the gym really hard. I could easily eat 4,000 calories a day if left to my own devices.3
-
Patience, especially taking it slower on fitness. I tend to push myself too hard, considering my age and physical impairments, and end up injured. I don't really have any issues with eating healthy and within my goals.2
-
@mawdestmeri oh i am the same exact way!! It can be so hard to incorporate the fun, social stuff without me wanting that to be the new norm.1

It is going to take lots of patience and learning for me to eat healthy and exercise 90% of the time. I have lots to learn along the way, but it is coming.0
