Well what a month! I went to Ottawa (10 hour drive) with hubby to see doctor for his back and leg problems... seems hopeful but have to go back in the Fall. During that time my father who went in the hospital for a sore knee, was diagnosed with a heart problem and needed a pacemaker. So my father was transferred to a hospital 5 hours away to get the pacemaker. Last Sunday I drove 5 hours to go pick him up, when I got there doctor said he can't come home, problems with his blood - (see my father is on blood thinners due to a mechanical heart valve he had 14 years ago) - so after this operation his blood is to thick so can't come home until it's thin at 2.5 and it is at 1.8... Keeping fingers crossed that he can come home this Friday.. he has been in hospital for 3 weeks... by the way my father is 77 years old and has a great morale, but he is getting lonely as I had to come back home to work. Let's hope that July will bring better days... I will be celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary on the first weekend of July so that will be starting the month right.

Sorry for going on so long but hey I needed to to let it out..

    Cheers to a better month.

    Lucie

Racer - you are surely in my thoughts and hope things improve for you and your family. Hopefully you are still taking care of yourself! Kind of hard to do when things are so bad, I know. Do you get time to yourself so you can go for a walk or sit down and read a book? Just wondering if you ever get to "chill" on your own. Hang in there.

racergirl you are in my thoughts. I certainly hope all is going well. I know life has been a struggle lately.

Magglett - love the profile picture!! Nice to "see" you.

This past weekend was busy and my eating habits went into the tank. I also did not have any time to exercise so am hoping that Monday, my life will get back to normal. I've had a little more wine than I normally do, which I know just racks up the calories.

We held our 11th annual Black Fly Run and it was another huge success. The week leading up to it is so stressful though, I get tired and cranky, for which I feel terrible about after. All I can do is apologize to the group and give them all a big hug. :ohwell:

Beautiful day today - the lake was like glass, so DH and I headed out for a paddle along the shore. It is so ruggedly beautiful. I never get tired of seeing it.

Hope you are all doing well. :flowerforyou:

As I hear its a flexiblity, dance movement? Anyone take a ZUMBA class. There is someone in my town that is going to be holding this type of class, I heard that it is fun also. Need to keep it fun.

First of all let me just say that I LOVE ZUMBA!!! It's a killer calorie burn and it's so much fun to do ... I can't really keep up with the instructions all the time ... but the music and the atmosphere is great. Also I would like to say ....
