Miracle Whip or Mayo?

What exactly is the difference between mayo and miracle whip? I always kinda thought they were the same thing but they don't taste it, then again it's really amazing I can eat it at all considering the colour but that's a whole other issue
To me, Miracle Whip is like mayo's kinky cousin. Some tang, sweetness and spice...paprika maybe?
It's considered a dressing instead of mayonnaise because it doesn't have enough oil in it to qualify.
