Back by popular demand, I present our SUMMER WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE!
Starting May 9th through July 31st we will go three full months on another journey together! This is a continuation of our Fall and Winter and Spring challenges and everyone did so well to encourage one another that we are going to keep the momentum once again and begin a new challenge!

I did have a high sodium meal last night so it's possibly water retention. I'm not bothered though!1 -
I wasn't in the previous challenges, but I'd like to join this one. I'm feeling a bit frustrated because I've been logging in and working out for 5 weeks and my scale hasn't moved... BUT my clothes are fitting *slightly* differently so I'm trying to stay motivated. My calorie goal is 1390/day and I consume about 1200. I work out 6 days a week and burn between 400 and 600 calories per work out. I do cardio and strength training. I log absolutely everything. I weigh my food and I pre-measure all my lunches and breakfasts for the week.
I've been reading about other peoples journeys and some say they have gone through the same thing as me -- our bodies decide when they want to let go of the weight and consistency is the key. I chatted with one lady whose changes took 3 months to start and then when they did, it was like a daily occurrence! I'm hopeful

We all may have had many and varied approaches to our health walk journey. How many times have you tried and felt like you've fallen down over and over and over again?
I'm living proof of falling too many times, but even though I fall I have an unwavering determination to keep getting back up! Keeping with a rule of thumb to have order in all areas of my life is a daily goal. But, a key for me has been consistency. I do however, have to stay alert to the process of fine-tuning when things in life demand my attention or circumstances arise that shift my emotional eating into the wrong gear. Let's keep good order and be directed with our goals doing everything we need to do to make it happen!6 -
