Having an horror day. My hubby went cycling at 10AM and till it was 4pm I was like, he must be enjoying his sun time. But then it started raining and I went looking for him everywhere around the lake and trough the bushes... Nothing. Asking everyone if they saw him. No one did. He ven didn't had his phone with him...
Then I decided I will call his parents. They are sick and I hate alarming them if it is not necessery. But I had to check if he was there, had a sleep... NO!!!
So i did what I had to. Called emergency and asked if there is a cyclist attended today. Long pause, she said yes!!!
It was a disaster. I felt down and my heart was punding...screaming.
*kitten* his obsession wit weight loss. You can't diet and cycle on empty stomack.
I was at the ER for 5h. And first they told me he is comatosed, then thah CR is ok... And finelly now they left me see him.
Pain pain.he didn't look at me. It is one horible place. Tomorrow I will go again. Hope to se his eyes looking at me again. There is nothing worst than seeing loved one so ...so and you can't do sh**

I am thinking of throwing it away.
Can you believe that poloceman called me to ask waht happend. ..Doctor said he was avaike for 5 min and he told that he way trying to avoul the dog. But he was sceptic about it.

I don't understand why he had that epi attack or how they call it. Is it because of the fall and crushing the right side of the skull? Do those headaches have to do something with his bad coordination... Do you have any smart questions I shoukd ask tomorrow?

I've been where you are. Husband went for a bike ride and fell off and broke his head, suffering a traumatic brain injury. He had his phone on him and the paramedics called me. I know EXACTLY how you are feeling. You can't do this alone. You need a support group of friends and family around you. You can ask me questions too. I'm not a nurse but I know a lot about brain injuries.

He probally has some pressure on the brain or a brain injury. The next 24 hrs are important than the next 24 hrs. The important thing to watch for is brain swelling. The headaches could be unrelated or not . Did he ever had seizures?
Ask to speak with the neurologist or critical care specialist . I know you don't want to tell his parents but they need to know. Talk to the nurses, a lot of times we cannot tell you everything but we are there for you and we are good when you need a shoulder or a hug. Don't hesitate calling the nurse in the middle of the night if you need to know he is okay. We are used to this, I prefer my family members call if it helps them rest easy. I wish I was there for you because it is times like these when you need someone to lean on. Hugs and prayers

I was there today. Stil I don't think he knows I was there. He was asking for a knife to cut some bandages... But all like he was delirious.
I told him I love him but I don't think he heard that. He asked to pee... Eyes closed. I believe he is under medications ?!
I went there, where that happened and workers of that caffee told me that one woman was with the dog. And the leash was the one of those that can self extend... Dog went on other side and my hunney tried to evoid that and ... felt.
That woman didn't even care to ask for him. I love animals. He should have felt on her. Peace of garbage.
I always like to believe that people are good in their core, but I have to grow up and see the world like it is. Full os selfish and ignorant people!!!!

Thank you all for your support and good wishes. He is breading on his own now, they say he will be good. They just keep asking about that epi attack... Isn't it normal to have it sometimes after you hit the brain?????

    Rider / Road ID bracelet.

Your husband needs it in his life if he intends to continue cycling...
