Are you looking for advice from people specifically doing low carbohydrate diets?1
-
Are you planning to go full Keto or just low carb?1
-
i aim to stay under 300g of carb, but I mainly focus on my calorie goal and ensuring I get at least 100g of protein, the rest can go to fats and carbs
2 -
<50 grams2
-
I just need to lower my carbs I'm on 200 grams I just struggle to get them lower0
-
I try to keep mine under 150g. When I was doing low carb I aimed to keep them between 50-100g1
-
Less than 50.1
-
I range between 100-200. When low carb, I aimed for below 50, but my mood and energy are better with 100+.1
-
I would say the right number for you depends upon why you need to lower your carbs. I keep my carbs low to maintain a normal blood sugar without being on medication, as I am borderline type 2 diabetic. I keep the total under 75 g per day (up to 90 if I get enough exercise in) and no more than 30 g at any one meal or snack.1
-
I'm high "good" carbs and rarely go over 200.
You might be doing something wrong with your diet.
Open your diary to the public.
Mine is open. People told me to get more protein and fiber.
Maybe you are not choosing healthy foods?1 -

Lowering your calories would help your losses.
Anyhow, for myself, I have no carb goal (only a calorie and protein goal) but my average carb intake over 3 months seems to be around 230g per day.1 -
I keep mine under 50. carbs are sneaky be sure to doubly sure to read labels1
-
I try to keep mine in the 20-25g range, as I'm borderline diabetic. I eat enough fat and protein that I don't miss carbs barely at all. I do have days were I eat closer to 50g, but that's only if the sweet potato is calling my name.1

Try lowering your carbs a little and see what happens.1
-
I'm confused. I don't see your diet being over 200 grams of carbs.
1,245 cals at 45% carbs = 140 carbs, right?
I opened my diary and people really helped me.
Everyone here is on the same boat. And I still have a chocolate problem.1 -
Typically 300 grams...1
-
I like to stay below 100. When I was bigger it didn't matter, I lost or maintained weight on wherever my carbs fell after protein and fat. Now that I'm a little leaner I find that I can maintain that look a little easier on low carb. And I learned that fats make me feel better.1

Who gives a crap what people think? Eat what makes you feel good. (in moderation - ha!). With PCOS, one remaining ovary, and insulin resistance, keto worked better than low carb for me. I'd recommend dropping the carbs down below 100g. My math is showing you around 141g right now, based on your calories and the percentages you gave. I had the best luck under 50g, but we're all different. PCOS is a b!tch.2 -
I aim for less than 25.1

Thanks for taking the time to reply it's appreciated

No there's lots nasties on here
I changed settings open to public0 -
I am type 2 diabetic and I just started trying low carb about a month ago. I have no idea how much carb I was eating before but I try to go below 100. On good days I can get below 100 but the serious/tight control ones I know from my facebook groups go around 20-40. I have just started so It's going to take me some practice and new recipes to get to my final point. I can tell my sugar reading are very improving even on just the first few days.1
