Just for fun how much would you weigh if you had a 47" waist and what size would you be?

Far more than I've ever weighed for sure! I'm 5'9" so I feel like it would have to be in the 300's to be that high for me? Is there a calculation we're supposed to be doing here to have a substantive answer?0

My waist is 47" and I weigh 238lbs.0

Depends on your sex and body shape, I was 235lbs when my waist was 47". It was 56" at 308lbs.0

I had a 47" waist and weighed 283 lbs. at 5'9".0

I wear my pants high so the "waist" number is big enough to fit comfortably around my belly. The size I was wearing at the beginning of this journey was a 46. So, about 20# plus 272 and I'd be about 292 with a 47" waist.

measure your waist at it's smallest point, which generally is a few inches above the navel0

I'm 5'4, 220 lbs, and waist is 44 inches. I carry my weight in my stomach area, especially after 2 kids. I'm just starting on this journey and hope to get back to about 27 or 28 inch waist, which I had when I weighed about 130.0

My waist is right around that. But it was 49" at 265 and 44" at 245.
I think the estimate of 47" waist = 330 pounds is only accurate for people who are really a straight clothing size. Then their bust-waist-hip would be 57"-47"-57"
Mine is 48"-45"-43 so there is a lot less body in places more body is assumed.0 -
I don't even want to guess how heavy i would have to be. At 5'9" and 270 my waist hit 38". At 180 it's 30.5". It's hard to say given the nonlinearity of fat distribution but I probably would have had to put on another 80-90 lbs minimum to hit 47".0
