I did well Mon-Thurs last week so need to find a way to do better on the weekends...1 -
I eat more less nutritious food on weekend.
Been trying to drink water instead of soda or sweet drinks. Usually order a vegetable if sit down restaurant. Invite family to go for a walk. Work in progress.3 -
Lost 12 lbs past 6 months. Slow and steady. Weigh in 1 or 2x a week.0

I would love to join everyone! I've lost 18 lbs just using MFP and then started walking some lately. However, I don't weigh on Mondays, I did that for years and it just didn't suit me. I would always stray a bit during the weekend so that when I weighed, if I had gained, I got depressed and ate more. A vicious cycle that I resolved by weighing Friday morning.
Since I'm just now being social, and because my story just keeps getting longer and longer, I'll try to shorten it. Before I begin, I'd like you to know that I'm as healthy as a horse...I just need to not eat one!
18 years old: 95 lbs dripping wet
27 years old: 110 lbs
32 years old: 140 lbs after 1st baby
35 years old: 160 lbs after 2nd baby
43 years old: 170 lbs
42 - 50 years old:
Broken ankle in April, diagnosed with breast cancer Nov, chemo adds 12 lbs and I eat another 20 lbs worth out of depression, Bilateral Mastectomy, move from Texas to Missouri, more depression, eating fast food in new apartment, new team of doctors, radiation, move into new house, 190 lbs. HTC diet, lose 17.5, gain total of about 38 lbs after. Thyroid problems, tests, scans, poked and prodded, lump in chest that we thought was the breast cancer coming back June 2015, surgically removed and then I rounded out last year by getting diagnosed with Colon cancer last Nov. I had my right side of colon removed Dec 2, 2015 and I was up to about 220 lbs last summer, before colon cancer.
I think that's it. It's been...interesting! Ha! I am 4' 11 1/2" tall and 51 years young...at heart. After the 2nd type of cancer, I waived a white flag. I've also been experiencing joint pain and a bum knee that's really just screaming, "Stop eating! Stop eating! Stop eating!" I have a small frame, was always petite in younger days so it just can't take the extra weight.
