    No ride this am, i needed to pick up items to large for the bike for work (already miss the endorphins from the ride) ....not bad since last night was a latish one out to see Brian Jonestown Massacre and they played for 3 hours
    Plus side after a long while stalled on weight loss (though it has been redistributing as muscle ) I saw my low for the year today and am down over 25 pounds ....25 to go (though I'll accept a little less if it means more muscle less fat)

    Friday, more sunny walking which was good. But yesterday was frustrating - meant to be a big family cycle ride, but it was a bit of a damp squib as my daughter was poorly in the morning and then I slept for 2 hours in the afternoon... We then had to rush back from it for my neice - who was 45 mins late in th end. All a bit Gggrrrr. So Currently working out with hubby how to get yesterday's plans to work for today...!

    April wasn't a brilliant month for me in terms of exercise ... I had hoped to do one or two longer bicycle rides but sometimes life intervenes in the plans. April ended up being an incredibly busy month with a heavier-than-usual workload at work + assignments due at university + the final steps of my citizenship process. I wrote the citizenship exam and then my ceremony was on April 29 and I am now officially an Australian Citizen! :):)

    May should be a calmer month, although I will be wrapping up the uni course I'm in so there will be work to do for that. Nevertheless, I hope for more kilometres than last May. :)

    a lovely sunny weekend. A run Saturday morning then a walk around the shops gave a bit of a boost to my totals. Then my planned cycle yesterday turned into a very leisurely and short ride to a tearoom along the river (they come and get you by boat) where I lost count of the beers (always remembering the danger of beer + cycling along a riverbank...) and had a naughty cream tea (Devon-style).

    Having spent the last couple of weeks feeling ill it was nice to get out and about and be active!!!

    Totals so far -

    walking/running miles - 15.5/60
    cycling - 12/40
    Lindy - 0

    Totals miles - 27.5/100

    going to need to pull my socks up to hit the target!!!

    Wow - that's building up impressively OW. And no way could I work til 2am Machka (mind you my 'still getting better' body has a nap every day!). Oh that is my kind of day Girlina (!) and well done for the half way point RCS

    I did get that family bike ride on Sunday, and today I wizzed over to my Mun's on the bike - 25-30mins each way. I do like being on my bike....perhaps I should get one of those wheel rim mile counters again...

    Lovely day with my daughter at Hampton Court ...(a Henry VIII palace and gardens...by the River Thames)

    16,000 steps later, and that counts as another 350 cal burn day - and a very enjoyable one at that.

    350 cals plus burned: 9 out of 17
    Or just 30 mins minimum: 6
    Lazy/poorly days: 2
