So after my workout I had a quest bar and then a tablespoon of almond butter , did I just ruin my progress for that workout by having a healthy fat ?

What does that have to do with your workout? I would change your quest bar for some real food though. Almond butter (unsweetened) is perfect for post workout reloading.1

Its over u ruined everything!!! Jk nah your good4

Healthy fat or even regular fat (whatever that means) doesn't make you fat, a surplus in calories is what makes you fat.
Your fine OP.1 -
What is this a joke ?
Really you ate food oh no >_> healthy fats are good just eat well through out the day , it doesn't destroy a workout what you eat afterwards ( granted you don't want to shovel down a mass amount of coke and McDonald's) just keep to your macros and cals1 -

I doubt it is a 'joke'. Go to any magazine rack and pick out any fitness mag and read it. I bet you will find more than one article stating you have to eat this food at this time and this much or all you hard work will be lost. Then you will no doubt find advertisements for some bar or shake to 'fix' this problem.
OP - Unless you are a professional athlete/model/fitness guru, you do not have to worry so much about what you eat and when you eat it. Strive for a balanced diet and you will be fine.9 -

No. I eat foods all day, every day. Hit your macros and calorie goals is all that matters.0

You exercised and you ate some food that you like - all sounds good to me.
Really worrying about timing of eating after a workout, or what kinds of food you eat after a workout makes virtually zero difference to 99.9% of the population.
Enjoy your exercise, enjoy your food in the correct quantities over the course of a day (or even a few days) and you will be fine.3 -

And here I go thinking a Quest bar was real food, didn't realize I was eating something imaginary.

What if a mass amount of coke and McDonald's fit my calories, macros and overall nutritional goals?0 -

Then your choice . Like to see a diet that that works with an doesn't kill you off0 -

And you're still alive?
As others have said no big deal. Meal timing around exercise is majoring in the minors1 -

Somewhere, Chad Johnson/Ochocinco is laughing at this.0 -

Three or four McDonald's McDoubles (or two Big Macs) is frequently an important part of my diet and has been for many decades now. Still in excellent condition and with excellent metabolic markers.
Oh, and still alive too.
(But it probably only works for me because I don't believe McDonald's food is magical (or anti-magical).)2 -

Thread title this was an accident. Did the OP file an incident report? How does one accidentally consume food? Does this explain those Suggestion threads where people ask to add a feature where the app will notify them if they are meat?3

Nope. Fat doesn't make us fat, eating too much of anything does...3

Wrong! Sugar and McDonalds makes us fat. It's 105% proven by the Organization of Eating Things and Stuff. They published a paper of a study that was posted on youtube and it went viral, yo. Fact.
I'm a Doctor (but I'm not going to tell you Witch kind of Doctor...) and confirm this is true.
Anyone who denies it is mean and a troll, possibly working for the Big Fat Conspiracy too.

I guess I'm going to die then too. I have McDonalds once or twice a week. Even though I fit it into my macros and overall nutritional goals, I am unhealthy and will die soon. Oh, well. I had a good run.
Dudes chill just an example , good for you if you can tolerate that and it fits into your diet but if someone goes to the gym to workout then every time " rewards " themselves with " junk" without thinking about cals and just going " oh I deserve this " they aren't gonna get too far.

It may not have been pointed out as it's merely a grammar/spelling error. What does anyone gain by pointing that out, when she's simply asking an honest question; why embarrass them?0 -

Solid non sequitur.
Maybe walk it back to the actual topic at hand?1 -
