For me I've dropped from a size 42 at 260lbs to a 36 at 215lbs. My goal is to reach a 34 by my birthday in August.
I don't get it. I was 5"10 245-250 and was wearing 48s. Now I'm 175 and wearing 36-38. Just bought a bunch of 38s but after wearing a few days they are falling to about pube level. I don't get how someone at 215 is wearing same Jean size. Unless you're super tall
It all depends on body composition unfortunately, I'm the same height as you but 38" 's fall off me and 36" needs a belt. 34" is comfortable without a belt right now. My scale weight is 226lbs.
I'm both lucky/unlucky in that a lot of my weight is in my stomach and back and my stomach does the overhang thing. Means I can wear smaller jeans etc but will suffer a lot more loose skin by the end (and things are pretty saggy already )1 -

That is where I start scratching my head... I'm 5'2" and SW was 248, CW is 223...I'm still in the same size 24. MsSquatalot is an inch shorter, 21 lbs less and is in a size 11. When I lose another 21 lbs, I'm not going to be in an 11...just aint gonna happen. Last time I was in an 11, I was 115 lbs (that was 40 yrs ago)
do you lift, though? someone who does that kind of body building stuff is going to have a heck of a lot more muscle than someone who doesn't.....muscle, being more dense than fat is going to take up less space and require smaller clothes. there will be quite a clothing size disparity between someone who regularly does heavy lifting and anyone else of the same or similar weight who doesn't
^^^ spot on. I do zero cardio and have lost all of my weight exclusively weight training. My quads are 26in and my waist is 30in but these hips... Oh lord. Haha1 -

At 250, I can currently tuck myself into a size 14, although I can't breath. I'm in between a 14 and a 16 right now.1 -

That is crazy! I've lost 25lbs so far and have only dropped 1 pants size! My fat is pretty evenly distributed across my body though. From my ankles to my chin lol.
I went from a 22 to an 18/20 depending on the brand of pants but I'm still working! More impressively (and to my annoyance because you can't buy these at thrift stores) my bra size went from a 44D to a 40D.1 -

I'm the same height as you so maybe it's body composition like others have said. My bodyfat is about 23% from using calipers and also a scale that measures it. I realize it's not the most accurate, but that's all I have to go by at the moment.
Other than that it might be the brands? I'm a loose 36 in Levi's, but I've had some jeans from Target that are more fitted 36's. One time I got a really cheap pair of jeans from Walmart that was labeled size 36 that felt more like a 400 -
I'm 5'10 and female. SW 350 pant size 28/30. CW 215 pant size 16/183

Way back when, at my heaviest I wore a size 16. Wednesday I hit my goal, which wasn't a number on the scale, it was a size 6 skinny jean from Old Navy. I bought and happily wore those jeans on Wednesday. They are what I'm wearing in my profile pic...3

Last October my jeans were UK size 22. Now they're UK size 18 and dropping off me so I'm about to buy new ones - UK size 14-16.
I had to replace all my work trousers for a smaller size in January, now I need to buy an even smaller size. The charity shop is doing well out of getting trousers I've hardly worn.
It's a good problem to have though.
I'm tempted to hang on to some of my larger size clothes in case the weight creeps back on, but I know I shouldn't.0 -
SW: 205, size 14
CW: 173, size 100 -
Here's my 2 cents lol.
5'7"
153lbs
Got some new shorts at old navy this weekend in an 8! But then I read that old navy runs a size big. So perhaps I'm more a 10? My new speedo is an 8, too and fits nice. I have thicker thighs, I think that's where I carry weight.0
