I need to get a scale but till then, I get it checked from the clinic just down my house. It gets awkward to go a lot though so I limit my visits :p
Will hopefully check on Monday ^.^

Totally understand and agree...it's so hard to get that cardio in when I'm clutching to my heating pad as I'm curled up in the fetal position. Congrats on doing it!

My biggest Gym pet peeve.....well when I used to go to the gym, was the people who would'nt wipe down their machine when they were done. gross!!! Also, this one lady would pee in the shower every time. The whole changing room smelled like urine everytime she was in there...GROSSSS!!

My current pet peeve as an at home workout person...All my friends know that I am not available in the morning because I workout. This is a fact that i had told them many times...im not available in the morning....but they still manage to make my phone ring or to knock on my door when im in the middle of my workout all sweating and huffing and puffing.....grrrrr.

Over subscribed classes!! Either when they're too full to book in, or when you do get in there's so many people in there you have no space - nothing worse than the fear of kicking someone in the face during Body Combat!

I messed up my first post... I thought it said "goal weight JUNE 3rd", not JULY 3rd!!! I was wondering why we would have a goal weight for June 3rd and thought it was so weird.... What the heck... Am I that scatter-brained? :o I'm updating my goal weight.

What is my biggest gym pet peeve?

    The Voice lady.

We have a small gym in our building with a HUGE TV. The thing takes up most of one wall. Every time The Voice is on, down comes this one woman (very tan, blonde, in good shape). It doesn't matter what's on the TV, or who's watching something while working out, she grabs the remote (usually mumbling something like "you won't mind if I take this...") and turns it on to The Voice. No asking, no apologies. The remote could be sitting on your machine and she'll just come up without warning and snatch it, which can be very startling. She then takes up the treadmill closest to the TV and watches the whole thing while walking. She turns up the volume to about 50. It's blaring. Also, while watching, she'll make a big show out of her workouts (grunting, panting, etc. - She's definitely only walking). Then, when she leaves after The Voice, she just leaves the TV on, still blaring, with the remote sitting on her treadmill.

    Yeah... *kitten* The Voice lady.

    Biggest gym pet peeve

People who work out when they are obviously sick. I go to the gym to get healthy, not get some virus.
People wearing perfume or scents - men and women... Gasp

But mostly my experiences at gyms have been positive

Total LBS lost this week: 3.1
Total LBS lost this month: 3.1

Weekly Goals: More variety in my diet. Get more strength training in with my walking.

Struggles: Not falling off the wagon. Saturday was a hard day for me as I didn't prepare myself a breakfast and ended up having first a donut and then pizza at work. I need to make sure my meals are planned out and ready.

Successes: Lost 3.1 lbs! Walked 26 miles. I got a fitbit last week and keeping track of steps and miles and calories and active minutes is very helpful. Last night I had my 10,000 steps that I want to get daily but I was just short of five miles and 30 active minutes (most of my steps are from running around at my job and usually give me zero active minutes) so I kept going for another two blocks until I had reached both goals.

Oh, me too. I've budgeted a four ounce glass of wine into my dinner every night this week. 64 calories and I use a small wine glass so it doesn't look skimpy.

Biggest gym pet peeve... It's actually in the locker room. There was always those 2 ladies that would stay completely naked after their shower. I'm not a prude, but I don't really want to chit chat with you while you're completely naked. :/
