Managed to go to spin class this morning. At this point I'm under calories but I'm not proud of the potato chips...
My goal is to make sure I work out every morning while I'm away from home.1 -

Logging everything helped me see how much I snack! I have been using food/sugar as reward at work whenever I was stressed out or tired and will try to stay away from that.
ImaginaryJewel,
Try rewarding yourself with new pair of earrings or something non-food related.0 -
Hi! I would like to join this challenge. I think I can do 20 pounds by them. I've gained 10 pounds over the past year after a medication change and I'm struggling to get those off and more. My problem food is sugar. I definitely use it as an emotional crutch.
So here's to progress and feeling better in my body.

Soypup,
Try using a pure Stevia for a sweetness. I don't like to use the word "sweetener" because Stevia is a natural herb...like parsley is a herb. I prefer "Sweet Leaf" stevia brand, because it doesn't have anything added to it. I also eat a LOT of fresh fruit. Find what's in season that you like and eat that. Cherries, watermelon & strawberries are some of my favorites!1 -
Hi all I would like to join you guys

Count me in! Definitely would like to join in !
I gained some lbs back and would love to lose it all by September by the latest! Although my move is only to the next town, the stress of packing and putting stuff to storage is causing me to eat out more and going over my limit.:( I need to get back to my healthy routine.

Have you tried Halo Top ice cream? I just discovered it today, and it's amazing! It tastes like actual ice cream, and in the entire pint has about 250 calories, 20 grams of sugar, and 25 grams of protein, along with a lot of fiber and probiotics (omg I sound like a spokesperson...)1 -
I made it through the long weekend. My eating was terrible but I worked out three times- including step class today.
I would like to learn how to control my eating over weekends.2 -
I think it is pretty healthy to loose 20 lbs by September2

It's the exercising part that is hard for me. I am not a gym goer...terrifies me actually. My confidence level disappears with just the thought of it. I do not have the energy at my age (59 in a few months) to be social, a stylish gym dressed female nor embarrassed next to Miss Size Six. I know that sounds awful... I really do... but I know I just couldn't, in the best of circumstances, force myself to do it. Therefore, I cook everything fresh - increasing my water intake and using MFP to count again. Walking and light weights. I'd like to think I can succeed at this ... my commitment to myself ... to live a lighter creative life !1 -
I'm in! I weight myself every week.

Hi! I'm hoping to lose 22 pounds! I don't know if I can lose by the start of September, but my goal is by the end of September, but hey, if I reach my goal earlier, the better! I weigh myself every few days to simply know, but my critical evaluation is once a week!
I want to exercise 5-6 days a week, but my undergraduate thesis is due next Friday, so I am allowing myself to not work out until that Friday, and from then hopefully I can push myself!

I'd like to join. I'm aiming to be 20 pounds lighter by the first week of Sept.
Height: 5'4
CW: 147
GW: 130
I started out at 171 in Feb so Ive lost over 20 pounds already. I work out daily and eat healthy bc it's all about a lifestyle to me now. I don't think twice about it. I generally don't allow cheat days binging on foods. I don't drink at dinner with friends. But every now and then if I'm having a great day, workout was intense, had great meals, I'll splurge on a cookie or something2 -
I need to lose 20. Please add me1
