May I play? I'm 53 and have increasing health issues, partly because of the 15 years I was a caregiver but mostly because I spent too many years just not caring much about my health. Losing weight is not going to cure most of my problems but it WILL help to manage them and have a better quality of life.

Hi everyone! Feel free to add me. I am just starting out on this journey to lose 90lbs. CW-240 GW-150. I gained all this weight in the past 2.5 yrs after watching my 4yr old daughter battle cancer and passing away in my arms. Food has been very comforting but now I am at a place in my life where I am ready to lose this weight. I want to get back to being healthy and fit like I was a few years ago. I could really use encouragement and support. Looking forward to this journey with you all!2

I'm 42, divorced, have two teenagers, hypothyroidism, mitral valve prolapse, and depression. I think some of my weight gain may be medication related (depo provera, propranolol, remeron) and thyroid related. This doesn't make it OK, I just feel like I have to work 3x as hard at this.0 -
