    I was fed up of trying different variations of my own name, only to find that they had already been taken. So I typed in this name in a bad mood and it was free so I kept it. I regret not trying "Thisnameistaken", "Thisnameischosen" doesn't really make sense but I just wanted a fricken username so I could log in.

    Back in the late 90s, I had the AOL username Pandora. Some company (not the one that is now popular) begged me for the name, and I gave it to them. For a while I went by another name on various boards and websites, but I dropped it when I broke up with my ex and parted with most of my friends and needed to start over. I had yet another name when my kids were little, that I used on mommy message boards and blogs.

    Eventually all that *kitten* got old. I got tired of trying to think up new names when I wanted to do something new. I stopped worrying that people online might know who I was. Hell, most things are linked to your Facebook now, anyway. So I just use my name. The extra E is for Elizabeth.

    iamagodess was part of the first ever e-mail address I had almost 20 years ago. I still use it for junk mail. I wasn't sure how to spell goddess. I chose wrong. Lol

    Tbh though I'm not sure how it or the numbers afterward became my username. I signed up to MFP once without using it and when I found the app again that's what I was stuck with.

    I actually really wish I could change it!

    Changed mine today because MFP assigned the first one to me. Was my full name. Didn't like being so out in the open. I moved from Florida to the snow and absolutely love it!! 35 has been attached to me since hs.
