I moved my wedding rings to a necklace today - They're too big, so they spin around my fingers (very annoying!) and I'm afraid that I'm going to wash my hands or something and they're going to come flying off.
I still have 35-40 lbs to go, so don't want to get them resized just yet. Until then, I'm wearing them as a necklace I guess.11 -
A woman in my office told me told me she could really tell that I lost weight and that I needed to stop being so humble about it . It is most certainly true that I have a hard time taking a compliment, but I'm working on it! Also, the scale hasn't moved downward in awhile (although I'm sure I'm holding water from sore muscles from working out), but I also know that the scale isn't the absolute method to gauge weight loss - I just forget at times and need to remind myself.20

Last night I ran on the treadmill, I normally get to around 20-25 minutes before I get physically tired and cannot continue to run so I slow it down to a fast walk. Last night was different. It started out seeming like I might have to stop running earlier than I normally do, but as time went on I felt better...and better....before I knew it I was at 30 minutes of running and I was even able to go into a full on sprint for the next 2 minutes after the 30 minute mark (it was also the first time in about 2 years I was able to run 9~10 minute miles on a treadmill). I was so pumped and it feels like I am physically starting to "Turn the corner". Hopefully next time out I can come close or match the 30 mark!20

About 2 weeks ago, I couldn't do more than 20-22 mins on the elliptical. Now I can comfortably do 30 mins
My dress pants are too big. I can take them off without undoing them (sorry if that's TMI)
This morning my husband hugged me before I left for work and he said, babe you are shrinking before my eyes !!! I have lost 8 lbs in 8 weeks. I'm very ok with this14 -
I lost 2.1 kg this week after working out 6 days straight, and as a reward bought some eyelash glue I've wanted for ages........hell yeah!!!10

I bought 34 inch waist pants to replace my 36s that had gotten obnoxiously loose. Then I got home, washed them, and discovered that I probably should have bought 32s. Erm...yay...kinda.20

I didn't have any clean pants or skirts in my closet, so on a whim I grabbed the size 12 (or 14?) American eagle black skinnies that I haven't been able to wear in over a year. Lo and behold, they fit, and they fit very comfortably!17

I thought I over ate tonight, because I felt so full after a roast chicken dinner I cooked. I logged it all and I was way within my goal range!16

The other week was my College's end of year ball at university and for the first time ever I felt confident enough during the live music to let my friend carry me on his shoulders, I had so much fun and it was a big moment for me. To add a fitness victory to the weight loss victory I then managed to carry an (admittedly tiny) guy on my shoulders so all in all it was a pretty major day for my self-esteem11

Yesterday at the gym, I bumped into another father from my kids' school who I had not seen in a few weeks. He asked me if I had lost like 50lbs because he was shocked with how much different I looked since he saw me last.14

Yesterday I shaved my poodle and it didn't bother my back one bit!
Let me clarify - my black and white standard poodle, lol, not anything else36 -

I thought nothing of it, until you felt the need to clarify. Now I am just imaging all kinds of ridiculous patterns, much like one would see on a show poodle. xD5 -
The better I feel about myself, the more motivated I am to workout. I've never been even kind of athletic, so finding motivation to move just from feeling great is amazing!14

I celebrated having lost 40lbs this morning with a run at 6:20am on my day off! Who is this person who has taken over my body? lol27

June 2015 to June 2016: I honestly look like I lost more than 50 lbs. Strength training is a wonder! Rocking that black romper, never thought I would look good in stuff like that, but now I am like "Dang I look good"23 -
I did two bike laps around Central Park Wednesday - last year I barely finished one.16

Gained 1/2 inch in height after my chiropractor fixed my spine and improved posture from exercising6

Went to a theme park today and there was a huge gap between the lap bar and my lap/stomach. Last year I had the mortifying experience of the lap bar not being able to go down far enough to lock into place and I had to get off the ride. I was so embarrassed even though the ride operator was a real sweetie about it.15

I ran into my hot neighbor out walking my dog tonight. I'm confident I didnt make it complete a&& out of myself but am pretty sure I still stumbled over my words. The good part, it didn't bother me a bit! Nothing like confidence.12

Went shopping for the first time in months. Fitted size ten Australian, size eight usa dress. It was a fitted dress that showed my stomach. Hubby thought I looked looked good, enough to want me to buy it. I'm not confident enough to wear it yet, but maybe I will buy that sort of dress after losing a few more kgs. Fit comfortably now into size eight Australian, USA size six, jeans now. And the scale hasn't budged much for two weeks. Go all the workouts by Leslie sansone!9

I get a massage maybe once or twice a month, the last time I went was maybe a month ago. I've lost almost 40 lbs, and lately for the last month I've just been maintaining-gaining then losing the same 2 lbs, so weight wise I'm essentially the same as last month.
After my massage my normal therapist tells me "you've lost weight huh?" ! Lol I mean she would know right being the only person besides my BF who sees me sans clothes. She's never said anything before, so given the fact that the scale hasn't budged much lately I'm excited that my body is still changing and someone noticed!8 -

Same here! Except instead of moving my wedding band to a necklace I wrapped a rubber band onto the back. One of the things I'm most excited about looking towards reaching my goal weight is to get it resized!

I went through my wardrobe today as I knew that there were some clothes in there from my larger days that I wanted to get rid of - I found a pair of trousers and a top that used to barely fit me back when I started my weight-loss journey.
I can wrap them around me twice over
My teenage daughter and I can both fit in them with room to spare
This made me feel especially good as I had a nasty cycling accident two weeks ago and despite continuing with my plan, I actually have put weight ON over the last fortnight due to water retention (I can see the water slopping around in my leg, it's disgusting When I touch one part of my leg a tidal-effect ripple moves across the rest of my leg - it makes me feel quite sick).
My mood was lifted considerably - I feel good again about what I have achieved since I started and secure in the knowledge that I will overcome this hurdle, my leg will recover and I'll be back on track again. I just need to be patient and carry on doing what I've been doing13 -

Oh, that's funny.0 -
Well, weird one for me this weekend... haven't logged into MFP in three days and broke my 230+ day logging streak since I started this wonderful journey back on 1 Nov 2015. I was camping for a long weekend with my husband with no wifi - had to break the streak - didn't sweat it. Ate what I wanted. Now back home - Sunday evening and planning a stricter week. AND... I am not freaking out!!20

We went away for the weekend and did a 15km hike in one of our national parks.
The fun part was that when we went into the tourist information the lady immeidately sniffed walkers and got the longer walks out vs the 5km walks
The NSV was that durign the walk my husband commented that I was never out of breath on any of the hills (about 90m). He noted that I had not used my inhaler at all and could still chat with him, he was most impressed. After thinking for a minute I was impressed too, but even more so when I told him that I had forgotten all my allergy meds that day and I was walking this 100% without breath support. Last year on our Hardian's Wall Path walk I could not do any hills without both.
All of a sudden I realised that my goal of getting fitter and beating my allergies (as much as possible) was kinda achieved.38 -
I crossed my legs today! It's been years.22

went on a fundraising bike ride today and easily did the distance 36k but the first 1/2 was literally all gentle climbing on an old rail grade and the 2nd half was coming back down! Whoot-passed many young ones!10

I did that too, only I was extremely sick and in bed and missed a day and had to start over. It sucks but oh well, move forward2 -
actually finished all 5 sets of a 50lb overhead press today.16
