Do you judge people on appearance?

I just came on here to judge everyone again5

I want the Crown after judgement.0

At a certain level, yup. People look and dress a certain way and it can indicate things about them. But that does not translate to how you treat them or who they really are personally.2

I wish people would treat me based on how I dress. Maybe they'd get the hint that I'm not a sociable person in person.1 -

good point, many people absolutely want you to judge them by their appearance. They make an effort to make a certain kind of impression. They even get disappointed if you don't acknowledge it.

I don't care enough to really pay attention to strangers and judge them, etc

Yes. That's why people watching is one of my favorite activities.
I judged a lady at the Walmarts yesterday who wasn't wearing a bra. And another person for wearing beige colored leggings.3 -

Are you in a box? Kidding. But good point, many people absolutely want you to judge them by their appearance. They make an effort to make a certain kind of impression. They even get disappointed if you don't pick up on it.
I'm extremely introverted. Online, I'm as social as can be, but in public, I want to hulk smash things after about 5 minutes. Hoping I could convey this to the general public, most of my wardrobe consists of shirts like these, outside of a few sports related t-shirts....
I even have one that says, "Do I look like a people person?" To which people think it's cute to talk to me and answer the shirt.

Yes. Visible panty lines need to be stopped.5

I don't care enough about people to make an assumption about them based on appearance.0

Literal fashion statement.

We all do it, whether consciously or not. It's hardwired into us, much like aversion to people who smell like any waste product, or are clearly diseased in some way.4

we would be friends irl
For about 5 minutes. lol
I'm good with small groups of people, like 4 or 5, especially if I'm in my own home where I can go "escape" for a few minutes.0 -

What's the job, and can she do it? Because my answer will change depending on the answer to either or both of those questions.1 -
I judge people on their appearance. But I don't treat them differently unless/until they give me a reason.3

And follow US (or your country's) employment laws and practices.

Just throwing this out there...
I am heavily tattooed with 7/16" plugs, a tongue ring, multi colored hair. Interviewed for my current job not removing or covering anything. Not one thing was said about my appearance.
I got hired and am making the most I have made in years.

We all judge people based upon appearances, but some are better than others at not being quick to react. Judgment is a G-D-given gift. Many of us Bible-thumpers claim that we are not to judge, but that's not what the Bible says, unless the Scripture is taken out of context. It actually instructs us to judge. It just does not say we must react immediately according to that judgment. We're to love people first, then, if we must, protect ourselves in whatever way the situation shows is necessary.0

Yep. Not so much on fat/skinny/shape/color/age etc, but more on how they present themselves ie clean cut, classy, good hygiene vs not.
Not super proud of it but when you deal with the American public on the daily you can't help but to develop some prejudices lol2 -
of course people judge others on appearance to an extent
i usually just do not pay attention to other people unless someone really catches my eye which happens sometimes
im still not use to people treating me better now that ive lost over 100 pounds tho still act like my fat self
stay away from people basically0 -
I try not to.
Some of the nicest people I've ever met are in tattoo parlors, and some of the most judgmental are sitting the pews of churches.
But everyone judges everyone.1 -

So much this.0 -
In my Asian experience, you're taught to judge everything... in Korea, people literally walk up to you and say 'you need to lose weight.' It's kind of hard breaking away from that kind of mentality if you live in that culture.
