Absolutely! Where I live I don't see thunderstorms very often and I get so excited when I do!! I used to live in an area with thunderstorms and even a tornado or two!

Yep, for sure. I feel so much better when it is storming, or even just raining.

I sleep to the sounds of a thunderstorm every night. It relaxes me. Now, I'm not sure I'm totally in with the one or two "harmless?" tornadoes, maybe because they scare the hell out of me!!

Live in California and my husband and I are both from the South and miss our thunderstorms like crazy. We had one Sunday with mild storms all day and we didn't watch TV all day so we wouldn't miss one crack of thunder.

While Im more a Pluviophile , I do like thunderstorms, but not the kind in the midwest where its like your house is about to be shaken apart and the ground seems to vibrate.

Haha you're like me. I actually even love storms, but when it comes to thunder and lightening, I'll get super scared if I'm alone. Otherwise, bring on the rainstorms, snow storms, ice storms. I love just sitting right at my window while it's happening. Then I sleep like a stone.

By the way, as much as I love stormy days, I couldn't handle that 100% of the time. Maybe 30/40%

The only thing I like about the south is our thunderstorm a day during the summer. Esp when I get to lay in bed and listen like right now <3a31knixif1vm.jpeg

Idk in Maryland back like two months ago it rained non stop for like 23 days or something. It was kind of miserable in my opinion... Lol

Maryland has weirdly long storms. When I was 7 an ice storm had us without electricity for over a week. The storms lasted for something like 2 months.

Ew an ice storm? Actually just the other day it was like 83 out and then later that night we had hail :D

    Lol how fickle.

It was super weird because it was the coast of southern Maryland, so hard freezes were rare.

As a resident of Tornado Alley, nothing makes me happier than a good thunderstorm. Rainy days are the best.

Count me in! As long as the storm doesn't keep me up at night, I like tracking and watching thunderstorms roll in. I'm in Maryland and the diversity of weather we get is one thing I really like about living here. Although I have to admit, the endless streak of overcast skies we had in May did wear down on me mentally.

I used to sit at my front door every time a storm cane around... Wait i still do.

I especially like that odd brownish tint in the clouds and on everything below during a morning or evening thunderstorm during the summer. Weird, i know.

Come to Florida in the summer. We get a thunderstorm pretty much every afternoon.
