Things that take more effort to make than throwing them into the microwave or boiling water.
I still enjoy ramen and the like, but cooking has really opened my world. I don't think I would have ever considered eating chicken hearts before.2 -
All veggies. Broccoli, spinach, green beans you name it. I've also fallen in love with chicken breast1

I fell in love with water!!! Before my fitness journey I just wasn't in the habit of drinking water at all and didn't realize how many calories I was chugging drinking soda and juice. I also didn't realize how chronically dehydrated I was and feel much better now drinking a minimum of 10 cups a day. Now I rarely drink anything else! And I really do enjoy drinking water, I know so many people who think that's weird Lol7

Greek yoghurt! I eat so much of it now, breakfast, snacks, dessert sometimes9
-
Fruit smoothies. I really like trying different combinations of ingredients just to see how it turns out.3

Grapefruits, Over-well eggs on toast, Skinny Girl popcorn in big bag,0

The vegetable, fennel.0

Plain 0% Greek yogurt (with a little jam and stevia), egg whites, strawberries (loved them before but seeing how many you can eat for such few calories amazes me), shrimp, tuna with mustard and relish, all veggies!!
Basically anything that has the best bang for my protein and (/or sweet tooth) calorie buck!0 -
Quinoa. I always kind of looked down on it as the hipster food of the moment, but I feel like you get a lot of filling food for the calories.
Black beans, I always liked, but I cook with them all the time now. I particularly love black beans with tomato, onion, bell pepper, corn, chile powder, and cilantro as a high flavor, high fiber, low calorie burrito filling. (Add mango, avocado, chicken, even noodles. All good!)9 -
Sweet potatoes!!! I cut them into 1" cubes (or close to) with skin still on, then I toss them in olive oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on foiled cookie sheet in oven at 375 for 40-50 mins until bottom is slightly crispy......so freaking good.....12

Pop tarts. I don't eat them very often, but I think I had 2 in the 39 years prior to my joining MFP. I've eaten several boxes since then.2

Avocados, brussels sprouts, mushrooms, figs, sweet potatoes, almond butter, greek yogurt just to name a few5

Green beans and Premier Protein!0

I love my green veggie soups. I blend up watercress, Opa (a local green grown in PNG), beans, cabbage leaves (basically anything green) boil up with chicken noodle soup packet or french onion, oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic and salt and pepper. I drink it hot or cold. It is my tasty back up meal when I overindulge on other days 50 calories a cup.1

Roasted vegetables--especially beets and squash. Steamed fresh cauliflower. Forcing myself to find ways to eat/tolerate/maybe even *like* vegetables has been huge. I can almost eat avocados by the slice now. Kalona full-fat cottage cheese, out of this world good. I eat more shrimp now and am no longer scared of scallops. 100 new ways to make chicken in the oven.4

Eggs. Their versatility in cooking is second to none.3

eggplant. And zoodles.0

Guacamole and brussel sprouts!1

Asparagus...banana peppers. All of the veggies at Subway lol0

Fresh green beans, asparagus, fresh peas (I always HATED peas, turns out canned & frozen was the problem, not actual peas!) and I always thought people were crazy for spreading avocado on toast instead of butter, but OMG it's actually amazing! Whole wheat bread & whole wheat rice.
Baked beans, black beans, garbanzo beans!
On the flip side, no matter how healthy some things may be, I can't bring myself to like them: kale, prunes, and cauliflower.1 -
Figs and mangos .0
-
Lentils. Particularly French lentils. They look so precious!
