I'm planning on going on holiday in December I'm also hoping to drop another roughly 10kgs by then - I won't be very close to my goal weight, but I'll certainly be skinnier and healthier.
I'm looking forward to being able to do fun, adventurous, and fitness based activities instead of being worn out from walking around sight seeing!6 -
Looking forward to meeting new friends that aren't embarrassed to be seen with me. I'd be content with just one person to go out and do things with.
Not hearing, if you would just loose weight, you have a pretty face.
Not being stared at when eating out.
Shopping at normal clothing stores and being able to find more of a selection at thrift stores.
Giving up the beast title. Right now my dog and I are known as beauty and the beast. He's the beauty, I'm the beast. Lol

Getting off medications
Shopping NOT buying plus size
Starting a family
Ride my horse comfortably again

Buying pants in a single-digital size.3

Originally, I wanted to look good for graduation but seeing as that's in less than 2 weeks, it's no longer happening and I'll have to make sure I drink enough water and don't get bloated. At the moment it's just being able to fit into clothes I already have because the sizes are slowly getting bigger and I don't want that.3

First and foremost, I want to be a role model for my three kids and inspire them to enjoy life in a healthy way.
Being able to enjoy doing more activities with my kids.
Looking hot shirtless. Well, actually looking the best I have never been.
Buying clothes that make me look really good and some tight shirts, T-shirts, trousers, etc.
It has already started as I had to buy real swim shorts (the tight model not trunks) as I swim a lot. I had always refused to wear them (although it is mandatory at pools in France for example) because I would look terrible.
Now, I don't feel that way anymore.
I still don't feel good looking but getting there !3 -
A 30-minute 5k.
A wardrobe that consists of more than 4 dresses and some t-shirts and jeans.2 -
Wearing a dress that I like instead of one that "compliments my apple shape"7

I'm almost to my goal weight and have started doing a lot of things that I didn't do before - and didn't really realize I had stopped doing them because of my weight until I dropped that weight.
But there is one I haven't done yet that I have wanted to do, and that is go to a park/school and go on the swings. I loved the swings, but haven't approached one in years for fear they would break, and with good reason.
It's time. Maybe tomorrow.9 -
lowering my blood pressure
getting back into single digit clothes
hitting the beach/pool in a two piece!!
passing a mirror with a smile instead of with frustration
loving to take pictures again
some of these things are already coming to fruition. I am excited!!4 -
Taking professional photos with my family, fitting into smaller clothes and maintaining my health. Thanks for the post... Those are good thoughts and good luck you all! ❤️ColoradoDan wrote: »Just a fun thread today for everyone.....
What are some of the things you are really looking forward too once you lose your goal weight?
Here are some of mine:
- Participate in the mud run my friends do each year.
- Not get winded walking up stairs to bed.
- Not have to use a CPAP machine when sleeping anymore. No sleep apnea.
- Wear normal sized clothes - no more only going to stores with big & tall sections.
- Enjoy going to the gym and getting exercise and not have it be a chore.
- Feel more than comfortable taking shirt off at pool, hot tub, beach, basketball game, or hiking.
- Be able to bend over and tie my shoes without belly in way. Not tying them cross legged/sideways.0 -
Being able to sew with the cool indie designer patterns and use less fabric doing it - and wearing cool trendy styles without being afraid of looking ridiculous in them because I am fat. Not to mention just more options in smaller sizes clothes-wise, and my thighs not rubbing together when I run.2
-
And laying out to get a tan or not wearing a shirt when exercising (just sports bra). That would be rad.

Man, this list could go on forever. I'm looking forward to...
* Only having one chin
* Not looking immense next to my considerably smaller friends
* Collarbones!
* Fitting more comfortably into airplane seats
* Being able to cross my legs again
* Not being ALWAYS too warm
* Not having to consider whether I'll fit in the booth or not
* Being able to wear half of my closet again! I could lose 100 pounds without having to go shopping. Seriously.
* Dating. Right now I only seem to attract guys who assume that because I'm fat I must be desperate.5 -
Maybe I won't get treated like crap2

I'm definitely looking forward to going shopping and wearing the clothes I've always wanted to wear. I work in fashion and I want to look great in my clothing, and more importantly, feel comfortable wearing it for 9+ hours a day. This includes wearing a button-down that won't gap in the chest (my holy grail of cool-girl basics to fit into!). But when it comes down to it, I'm in my mid-20s, and I want to look great whenever I look back at some of my best years. I realized the other day that I haven't been less than 150 pounds since I was in 6th grade... going below that would mean I've accomplished a goal I've had for over 10 years.4

Having my legs not rub together.
Feeling confident when camping and hiking, instead of feeling out of place and fat.
Feeling more confident in applying for jobs.
Looking pretty and slim when I graduate uni.
Not overheating all the time.
Wearing all the lovely clothes I have that are a bit too small.3 -
Just looking to look better without clothes. And with clothes. To get outta of the XXL unless your talking about my muscles. Fitness is not just for the young it's for everyone it's for me. I can get the body I want 37 is not to late to look amazing.3 -
Getting faster! The less dead weight I have, the better running feels.3
-
Feeling good about myself.
Riding carnival rides with my daughter.
My husband being able to put his arms around me.
No more chafing.
Buying all the cute clothes.
Being able to put on socks with ease.
Not thinking of myself as ugly.
Being able to see my feet without moving my boobs out of the way.
Not having trouble with the seatbelt.
Being able to comfortably sit in a booth.
Better health in general.1 -
So many things! But mostly to be at my high school reunion looking better then high school. Shopping for sexy clothes again. And getting off my diabetic meds and blood pressure meds1

I have reached my first goal to loose enough for my health insurance to pay for my knee replacement surgeries! I had to loose 20, but I have lost 24. I have been setting small 10lb goals to not get overwhelmed. I am enjoying being able to wear clothes that I have had stuffed in my closet. I bought a size smaller shorts the other day too! I can't wait to really go on a shopping spree. Oh, I did have to get a couple smaller bra's too. Hubby don't like that part, haha! But I loved it! I can't wait to buy a cute dress and some of those cool exercise clothes to use at the gym once my knees get healed. Having my surgeries in September and October. Good luck to all, hope you meet you dreams!4

Riding again. As my reward I'm booking an 8 day mobile horseback riding safari in Kenya, Africa. (Next year - 35 lbs from now)3
-
My first goal, is to be able to see my feet, without having to bend over. I know it might sound stupid, but that is my first goal.3
-
I want to buy all new clothes. I want a strapless dress and to feel good in it. I want to buy a new bathing suit. I am waiting until I am closer to my goal. I have lost 60 lbs and so far only bought one pair of shorts. I am swimming in all my clothes but don't want to waste money until I am finished losing.
I want to get a bike and go riding again. I want to go out dancing. I want to get strong and be able to run with my kids
I want to never see the words obese when I go to the dr again5 -
Love all these!0
