I am almost at my half way point but put on an outfit today that really makes me feel like it is working. I am 5'2" and almost 50.

I have been logging since February - every day faithfully. I have been on several business trips, a vacation to Disney and in that time frame I have learned there are good options out there and you can eat healthy where ever you are.

I walk 2+ miles 5 days a week and attend a circuit core class twice weekly. I have cut out a lot of carbs and just have done a lot of portion control.

Don't wait until the end of your journey to post here. Let's share how far we have come and not how much we have left to do!

Started at 229, I'm 5' 7". That photo was at 179, I'm 171 now. My original goal was 160 but I think I'm going to shoot for 140ish.

Great job - Thank you for sharing!

This is my progress so far. The before picture (left) was taken on 3/31/15 and I had lost about 25-30LBS. The after picture was taken on 6/21/16. I'm down roughly 60LBS. For the past 8 months, I've been gaining and losing the same 7LBS. I got lazy with my meal prep and logging, so it is now back to basics for me. I've worked too hard to stop seeing progress.
Thanks for starting this thread, OP. It's a reminder for me that even though I have a ways to go, I've come a very long way.

Congrats to you! I am in maintenance but realized after your re-post to get others to share their progress pics as well that I would share in the hopes to motivate whomever I can. I have lost over 80 pounds from 235 to 152 but am currently maintaining around 165. I realized that the success is not only justified by a number on the scale and that the journey will always continue for me with new goals to set and meet and celebrate. I am currently working on gaining muscle, strengthening my core & focusing on being a healthy role model for my 7 year old daughter. Sorry if the images are hazy. tddcgh004tpl.jpg

    Great job!

I have been at this a really long time, so I guess you could say I'm really taking the 'slow and steady' route lol. I started at 240ish and I'm right around 175 and from a size 18W to 10/12. My ultimate goal is 155. I'm 5'8".t1b71sj2bfw0.jpg

My heaviest weight was 268lbs. I started MFP at 240lbs. I'm now at 213lbs. I've lost over 50lbs but I have more to go. I've pretty much been overweight since I was real young. I tried different diets but nothing stuck. Mainly because I was lazy (still am) and addicted to food. I still love food but I'm not obsessed with it like I use to be. I see it as only fuel for the body. :) As far as exercise, well, I'm still not a huge fan but it beats being overweight for the rest of my life. Congratulations to everyone else on your journey and keep up the good work. :)
