I blew it for 5 weeks straight lol. Just back on track as of yesterday hahaha! Oh well, these things happen. Be glad you got back on track for today and didn't wallow in your own self pity for 5 weeks lmao!0

I think I was like, 14cal over my goal or something. I didn't eat too terribly, I was pretty proud of myself actually. I could have made some big ol' damage haha0

If you look at the big picture, one bad day isn't going to be a huge deal in the long run. Add 10 minutes to your workouts this week, keep drinking your water and keep your goals in mind. This is a journey, so give yourself a break now and then! You can do this!0

I went over by 347...but not a huge deal. I ate what I wanted..but just a bit..like 2 chips, and a spoon of macaroni salad. Just enough for a taste..so that way I didnt feel like i was losing out.0
-
={ yea... ggrrrr0

Wow. How are you feeling today?
I was maybe 100 to 200 over for a few days and ate crap, the next day i couldnt workout properly and still am not up to par.(celebrated Canada Day on Friday and continued all weekend)0 -
Friday afternoon and most of Saturday was my day. Back at it on Sunday. Such a refreshing change from feeling like a quitter because of one bad day. As far as I'm concerned, that's a serious victory. It was worth the slow down in weight loss to know I can get back on that horse and keep ridin'. Yay me!

Yes, I did! I said I wasn't going to.. really had the mindset to make decent food decisions.. and then I saw and smelled the delicious, high-calorie food and couldn't resist. But hey, today's a new day... I'm back on track. I did feel like crap yesterday though and I need to remember that feeling when I want to eat everything! lol0

-
I definitely did! And I'm from Canada! So I didn't even celebrate!
Maybe it was a subconscious thing? :grumble: hehe0 -
I did but not to bad, just under 500 cals over , though blew it prettt big on carbs ,0
-
I was over all weekend0
-
*raises hand* Totally!!
Had probably a couple thousand over as well. Definitely my "Cheat Day" / Binge for the month! I am NOT allowing myself to do that again for an entire month. Time to get back on track... going for a run today.
I broke down emotionally last night because I felt like I blew it, but the only way I would blow it would be if I continued to eat like that every single day.
It's all cool! I'm blaming it on the holiday
Nice to see others did the same :P0 -
I went so far over I'm ashamed to try to track the calories! Yikes! Let's just say 2 turkey burgers and a turkey hotdog started it all off. At least they were turkey. Oh well....the weekends are kind of "free days" for me. Today is a new day and I'm doing alright so far (of course it's still early0

I got that crappy feeling too!!
I will remember how bad it felt (and still feels..I feel kinda sick from all the ice cream) and hopefully control myself next time.0 -
yup...I was over by a litte more than 500...and I atribute that mostly to the two drinks I had LOL (seriously they totaled 500 cals!!) But I also knew I was going to do it too LOL. I will just push a little harder the rest of the week.0
-
Yep... all weekend long! But like many of you have said today is a new day and I shall prevail (with your support and help of course)! Good luck all and let's press on toward the prize!0

Canada Day, food was OK, but the drinks were out of control. Saturday was OK, Sunday was so off I couldn't even figure out how to log it, lol! Oh, well, gone are the days when I would throw in the towel in disgust. Back on plan today, and won't be stepping on a scale for a while. I know I'm up, so why frustrate myself? I'll give it at least a week before weighing in. I love that I am so into this lifestyle change thing that I no longer stress it:)0
-
I didn't log everything I ate Sunday cause I was at the lake but I was actually pretty good this weekend and I know I burned a ton of calories! At least now I know the content of lots of foods I eat so I still have a general idea of what I can eat and be ok with if I can't log it...0

Kinda feeling like I should run and hide from this topic...
Not only was I under my calories by 400...
I was under 1200 thanks to healthy choices.0 -
Er I had a little sugar crave yesterday. A harsh weekend at work and lack of sleep resulted in me needing choclate and cream. So I had myself two chocolate eclair. I felt horribly guilty afterwards which probably is a good thing for my diet. Though we all need to allow ourselves little hiccups from time to time. Just make sure you make up for it.0

Man I have been having trouble this whole summer!! I am a teacher and this is the first time having 2 months off!! It is killing me!! I am so much better with a schedule!! It doesn't help that a went to visit my family, to a conference, now headed to Mexico for a week, plus all the lazy days in between!!! It sounds easy, That being off you work you think you would focus more, but it is sure harder said than done!! I am just trying to maintain the best I can an not gain more than 5 pounds and then get back to it when back on schedule!! Thank goodness for mfp!! At least it gives me some accountability that without I might have dug myself a deeper hole!! We can all overcome a bad day, a series of bad days, or even a few months of falling off the wagon if we use mfp!!0

That is pretty impressive actually, if you are going to go over you might as well go big! I have a theory that the body can only absorb so many calories per day. It is total BS, or maybe not. Either way, a day does not matter just the sum of all days. You will be fine.0

Yes, I stayed healthy the whole time until I went to the baseball game. I had a 24 oz of beer and junk food. Everything is in moderation right? I never drink or eat a HUGE amount unhealthy stuff but it was a holiday. I went running before I left for the game. I plan on working out today as well.0
-
Didn't totally blow it on the food side (went over 500 calories on Saturday - not a total fail) but I did miss out on my usual weekend exercise. Between parites and travelling, there just wasn't time. Plan on hitting the gym for a nice long workout today!0
-
Yup I diddnt go over but did eat allot of junk, and yeah made me feel yucky bloaty and gqssy, and today I feel a touch of heart burn.
Today is lots of water and trying to get motivated to get my fitness on0 -
I went so far over I'm ashamed to try to track the calories!
Love this.0 -
I probably did, but I don't log weekends/holidays (I've heard this is bad, but it's a personal decision).
On the POSITIVE side of things: I've never been so proud of my family when it comes comes to food! I indulged in dessert, and allowed myself to dip myv egetables, which probably is what put me over, but almost all of the food offered was GOOD. Raw veggies platters, fresh fruit, grilled tilapia ... even dessert was angel food cake prepared with mandarin oranges and cool whip/crushed pineapple "icing".
A far cry from our typical brats/burgers/marshmallow "fruit" salad/caramel cake/bacon baked beans 4th of July! Go family!0
