Crunches actually help cramps for me! I read that in a 17 magazine a long time ago and live by it!0
-
working out! its the last thing you feel like doing, yet the 1 thing that'll really help!0
-
I usually just drug up on Pamprin and Advil.0
-
I hate cramps!!! I take a midol. Also, it's hard to diet while on a period.0
-
Yoga helps me. That and a warm bath!0
-
a heat pack.
i cheat and fill a Ziploc bag with hot water, but sometimes it leaks lol.0 -
bananas are supposed to help but i just used to lie in bed with a hot water bottle. i dont get them anymore so i dont really know if theres any new remedies out there.0

My husband massages my tummy - amazing!0

Get a vitamin B complex and up your potassium and magnesium. I only get cramps for a bit when I start now, and that's it! I also no longer have any PMS ahead of starting. I've NEVER had it so easy in my life as I have in the last 5-6 months.0

Ginger tea helps too...0

Cry a lot. No, I'm kidding. I avoid cold water and take ibuprofen.0
-
just start moving to warm up & they should go away.0
-
crunches and a heating pad (not at the same time lol)0

Exercising! Running since it's what I do really seems to help. Anything to keep moving. I'll take ibuprophen if I have to, but I always try to stay away from it. And lots of water!0

Do you have access to a pool? Just floating helps a lot, especially if the water is warm.0

lay on the ground with your legs straight up against a wall and ur butt agaist it as well (forming a 90 degree angle) then spread your legs into a v, still against the wall0

green tea and a heating pad....0

Avoiding caffiene and increasing water.0

For me, it would have to be running, becaue you whole body is moving and it helps to take ibuprofen before you run oh and stay away from alcohol, salt and sugar.
Good luck0 -

A heat pack, some aleve and a run in the evening Maybe a hot shower too. Squatting may help too as it lets those muscles relax. Feel better!0

I have endometrios, cramps are horrendous during ovulation and period. So i googled home remedies (dont want a hysteremcy at 34!!) and I take ground flax seed, about 2-3 tablespoons a day, just sprinkle it on my cereal in the morning. It has helped me tons!!! Wish I had known about this a long time ago!!!!0

Caffeine makes pain/cramps worse.... and calcium eases pain/cramps. So, lay off the coffee and soda, and drink some skim milk...or maybe just a little bit of ice cream. )
Also, if your cramps are really bad, you might want to talk to your gynecologist about being tested. I had awful cramps (prior to going on the pill), and I was just recently diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Which, by the way, was also attributing to me easily gaining weight but not being able to lose it very easily.
**Also, these are some amazing tips!! Thanks ladies! )0 -
exercise - hard to get the endorphines racing then a nice warm/hot bubble bath :-)0

Calcium, take a bunch of calcium. A lot of times it's a lack of calcium that causes it. Also, if you want to go hardcore, become a vegetarian and watch them virutally disappear, or at least that happened for me.0

A muliti vitamin, and cutting out caffiene helps me a lot!!0

pamprin never helped me.. midol quit working and started making me sick... so I steal Ibuprophen 800s from my BF... I tried getting some from my gyno but he won't give me anything because I'm "TOO YOUNG TO BE ON ANY MEDICATIONS" whatever....0
