Lightest possible? Kvass is <1% alcohol.

Personally I'm more interested in the best tasting beer. Hefeweizens and goses usually fit the bill with <150 kcal/12 oz.

How about a full flavored beer that will get you the most bang for your buck. Lite beer is almost like water and you need to drink of few to get a buzz.

155 calories per bottle for a Fat Tire.

I remember the first time I tasted that, I was living in Colorado years back. It was unheard of in my home state (Virginia) until just a few years ago. Stuff's legitimately amazing, and I don't even like beer.

I like the taste of any lite beer. I don't like flavorful beer. So out of Miller 64, coors light and michelob ultra... Which is the best for my diet??? Lowest carbs and calories. I feel like I have heard michelob ultra

Welcome to the diet world, friend. I have recently become a citizen of this mystical place. I am switching from half and half to coconut milk (diet creamer...) and from agave syrup to Stevia (diet sweetener...) and, last week, I switched from microbrew craft red ales in growlers to....BUDWEISER SELECT 55 (diet beer...)

For real, though, read the linked articles for a better overview than just my opinion.

I can personally say that I enjoy the Budweiser Select 55 mostly because I know that, hey, if I drink a six pack of it, that's only 300 Calories, and I won't be drunk! The flavor is middling. It's 55 Calories, 2.5% ABV, and 2g carbs.

    Can say the same about M64 - Miller 64. It's 64 Calories, 3% ABV, and 3g carbs.

After that I would say the BEST sub-100 Cal light beer is Michelob Ultra.
It has 95 Calories, 4% ABV, and 4g carbs - and generally a good flavor!

If you enjoy sour, look into sour beers. A gose is refreshing and generally in the 100-125 calorie range (similar to most light beers).

I drink either Molson 67 or Sleemans 2.0 First one has 67 calories, the Sleemans 80 a 2 carb. They are both decent beers, the Sleemans better than the molson.

Personally though, I'm a highball guy. 1oz of rum 65cal 1oz of gin 75 calories. Mix with diet pepsi or diet tonic for the gin and I'm a happy guy. Nothing says summer like a big G&T on the deck.

Yup. I stopped drinking beer. Missed my hoppy nectar a lot for about a year, but now I'm over it.
I pretty much only drink wine now.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale clocks in at 175 and is tasty. I can't do light beers anymore. I also drink a lot more wine.

The three light beers under 100 calories that are still 4% alcohol (what is "normal" for a light beer) are Miller Lite, Busch Light, and Michelob Ultra (ordered in my preference). See article here: http://dailyburn.com/life/health/healthy-best-beers/

SAY NO TO LITE BEER. Seriously, there are some tastier lower calorie beers out there. You don't have to subject yourself to the misery that is beer flavored water like Mich Ultra.

Personally, I'd go for a Bell's Oarsman Ale. It's 120 calories a bottle. It's not the most flavorful craft beer out there, but it has a nice sour-ish finish and tastes 100 times better than a coors light or mich ultra.

Or a nice 3 Floyd's Pride & Joy Mild Ale at 146 calories.

If you want a darker, more flavorful option you can always do a stout. Lancaster's Milk Stout is one of my favorites and it's only 156 calories.

Bud Select 55 is the lowest calorie beer I've seen.
