I know my target weight is really not a healthy weight, but I haven't been below 170 in 20+ years. Even that goal seems so far away, and so many failed attempts to get to my "ideal" weight just keep haunting me. To get to 170 would be a start, and 68 pounds lighter than where I began. I would be healthier just getting to that.
If I get there - hopefully I will be able to continue losing, but putting a target weight of 135 - is too daunting, embarrassing. I'd have to admit that I am/was 100 pounds over weight. and that is depressing. even writing it here, is upsetting. I never put myself into that "I need to lose 100 pounds" category before. wow.
Listen. Everything is going to be fine. Be kind to yourself. Mini goals. Look around on here for support. Don't put yourself into a category because you are you and that makes you unique!
I would NOT make it if I didn't set mini goals.
Hang in there, you will get there!
