    @skippygirlsmom Way to go on the hill repeats :smiley:
    @shortie120 Welcome to the group!
    @TattooedDolphinGirl78 Great job on hitting your goal early!
    @instantmartian Sorry your run went sour - been there :(
    @karllundy 5 miles! Whoop!
    @ddmom0811 4:30am=dedication B)
    @kristinegift 3 geese were walking down the sidewalk of my street this morning, like they had just as much right to be there as me :p It cracks me up that they actually use the sidewalk to move down the street. But they also think nothing of crossing the street and just sitting down in the middle if they need a rest ;)
    @vandinem Nice job!
    @sara_bear84 Don't be discouraged :) You ran more this month than most people (who ran 0 miles!) You'll get it next time!
    @Orphia Great pics and you look so HAPPY <3
    @Tweaking_Time Glad you're over the cold :)
    @net1968 You're almost to goal. Great job.
    @5BeautifulDays That's so sweet you got the shoes for your daughter o:)

    I had a scheduled rest day today but Skip had 3 miles with hill repeats on her schedule so I went with her. Yes I know you all will be shocked I did hill repeats with her. LOL She did 8 I did 3 ha ha and that was enough for me. We ran 3 miles did the repeats and ran 1 mile home.

    Awesome. I got hill repeats tomorrow morning with some of the Panera group. A few of those in my group are wimping out and going over to the Rocket Center and running some on the soft trails over there. Many plan to meet at Panera still and run in Research Park, however I'm not sure which course. Tomorrow should have been Cabella Hill Repeats and that is exactly what I plan to do.

    Have you guys gone over to Cabellas yet and know the hill I am talking about? It connects the back part of Cabella with Quality Cir. Over by the Crystal Mountain water company. Plus not too far away from Panera is your office and i know you guys have showers over there.

    Cabella Hill that we do repeats on.

    Met up a friend for 10 miles early enough to beat the heat. Ran into another runner/fellow triathlete midway, and got to hear from him as he had to withdraw from ironman Lake Placid due to am injury, but was able to get into IM Maryland in 8 weeks, so he was happy to find a replacement race.

    Down to 30 miles with 4 days left, so it looks like I'll be hitting both of my targets for the month.

    7/2 - 9 miles
    7/4 - 1 mile
    7/5 - 7 miles
    7/6 - 5 miles
    7/7 - 1 mile (lift warmup)
    7/8 - 3 miles
    7/9 - 5 miles
    7/10 - 11.5 miles
    7/12 - 1 mile (lift warmup)
    7/13 - 8 miles
    7/14 - 2 miles
    7/15 - 5 miles
    7/16 - 10 miles
    7/18 - 10 miles
    7/19 - 3.5 miles
    7/20 - 14.5 miles
    7/21 - 8.5 miles
    7/22 - 10 miles
    7/25 - 18 miles
    7/26 - 7 miles
    7/27 - 10 miles

    Total: 150 miles
    Goal: 180 miles
    Remaining: 30 miles

    2016 Race Schedule:
    Disney Marathon - Jan 6 - 3:29:09
    Gasparilla 15K - Feb 20 - 1:01:59
    Ironman 70.3 Florida - Apr 10 - 5:07:51
    Pittsburgh Marathon - May 1 - 3:08:25
    Ironman 70.3 Augusta - Sep 25
    Chicago Marathon - Oct 9
    Ironman Florida - Nov 5

    I waited too long but still went out for an "easy" run late this morning. The heat and humidity were much worse than I thought and I was soaked through. I took it easy after last night's workout. Finished 3.29 miles and definitely walked my nemesis hill and did even entertain running up it.

    I only need 6 more miles to get to 100 miles this month! I should do at least that for my long run on Saturday, plus I have 2 more base runs to fit in. I'm going to have to up my goal for August.

    Everyone is crushing their goals this month, that's so great to see.

    I had a great run today. Distance PR for me, 4.5 miles. I definitely think I could have gone 5 but damnit, I ran out of time. Will definitely try for 5 on my next outdoor run.

    I am already thinking 50+ for my August goal.

    @Stoshew71 I'm getting jealous of the Daily Doubles. I know I have no use for them, but every time I read you did a DD, I'm like "Gah! I want to run!" Awesome running!

    I wish I could say that I do them because I want to. But if I could be honest, I am not always so enthused to get out there. A lot of what is pushing me, especially in this weather we have down here in Alabama is that I really want to BQ so bad.

    @Stoshew71 - You make me feel guilty, because I never worked that hard to BQ. To train for Boston, yes; but the initial BQ just kind of happened when I went out and ran my first marathon. Advantage of being old, I guess; BAA gives me a very generous BQ target. I'm thinking I can slack off at Rochester and still BQ for 2018, just run somewhere around a 3:30.

    And in another 5 weeks I'll have time for Daily Doubles if they make sense for training.

    You are the exception. Everyone I've trained with locally has gong showed their first marathon.

    Today was like the worst day ever. I had a recovery run after yesterday 200 m repeats. As I laced up it started raining and I was like "yeeeee running in the rain" but it stopped before I started the run and the sun came up. 10 min and fog started to appear. This means humidity was around 100%. And boy I felt it. My heart rate was fine but I was drowning in sweat. After the first 4 km my iPod started to skip songs by itself. I knew what that mean. Sweat had gotten inside. Ditched in in the car and continued my run but it felt so hard. Not sure if from humidity or because I was tired from yesterday. Probably both. So at home I opened my iPod shuffle and tried to dry it out. It stopped skipping but the play doesn't work or volume up, or voice or back buttons. Only forward and volume down. Luckily I can set volume high from PC so it's not over for this one but now I'm starting to eye second hand waterproofed ipod around the webs :)

    Ok so I got 30 more km and 4 days. I have a long run of 15 Sunday so that leaves 15 km for 3 days. I should be done just in the nick of time

    I used to run frequently and would like to get the motivation to start running again. I have missed the July Challenge, and was wondering if you will be Starting another Challenge in August?
