My hands are thinner, I am starting to see my elbows in the mirror when I have my arms straight. I went through all of the shirts I had put a way and tried all of them on and found eight more shirts I am able to wear as well as thirteen shirts I am almost able to wear, but I need to lose a few more inches or a little bit more weight. Judging by what it is doing so far, I would say inches.
11 more able to wear, 13 are pretty soon and I have 2 to give away.15 -
First proper pushup!21

For the first time ever since I started actively tracking my macros, I was under my carbs, fat, sugar AND salt! I was a tiny bit over my protein. The reverse has always been the norm. I'm always fighting getting enough protein and keeping it within my calories. (I was only over 18 cals. tonight) I'm getting a handle on this!21

When I first put on weight I went up to 78 kgs from 55 kgs. That was in 2009, reached 90 kgs in 2015 and then rejoined mfp, anyway, guess what??? I'm 78 kgs now as of 1st august 2016!!!! and also I will be celebrating 1 year anniversary on 5th August. that's the day I started running!! yay for me!!!19

You know how a lot of shirts for women have these TINY sleeves?
I have this shirt I like but couldn't wear for a while because the sleeves where too tight! The shirt itself was fine, really.
I can now wear this shirt again without fearing for the blood circulation in my arms! Yay
Well, there's another shirt with tight sleeves and I'll consider it a huge victory when that one fits without being uncomfortable.
(but seriously, what's the deal fashion labels have with these stupid tight sleeves??? lots of shirts have tight sleeves but more space at the bust, which doesn't help me at all)16 -
Shopped my closet and am wearing a dress today that has not fit for at least 2 years.13

I started my walking program on Memorial Day. My first walk was on Memorial Day for .74 of a mile at 1.7mph. I now walk 2 to three miles 6 days a week. I set a goal on July 1st to be able to walk one mile at 3 mph (20 minutes) by my birthday. Tomorrow is my birthday and I walked my first mile at 3.2 mph, meeting my goal one day early.43

Over the weekend, I did a stand up paddleboard yoga class! It was so much fun and even though I'm only about halfway to my goal weight, I know it would have been much harder 50 pounds ago, or I just never would have done it. I love finding new ways to work out!24

Getting up early on Monday morning is hard for me. But I was out the door at 6:04 a.m. with the dog. We tacked on a few extra blocks for a 2.64 mile walk before work. Yay me!23

Well, I don't know that I can say I've hit any NSVs just yet....but I got started today! That has to count for something, right?39

The first step can be the hardest one to take - great start! I'm sure you'll be posting more NSVs soon.8 -
Went shopping today, bought a dress shirt and a sweater, and both were a medium???
I was looking at the dress shirt that I wanted but the largest size was a medium. I was gonna walk away but my mum said to try it only anyway. So I did. And oh my god it fit. My mum said the expression on my face was hilarious.
For perspective two months ago I was a tight XL.23 -

Went to get measured for new dress shirts. Old Neck size was 18 inch, currently a little snug 16 inch neck size.
About a month-and-a-half ago I bought all new shorts for the summer 38 inch waist. now they're loose and I can wear a 36.16 -
Needing a new belt because the last hole is too loose now19

Today started with too little sleep, waking up really hungry and eating way too much. Instead of saying screw it and eating too much all day, I hit the gym, burned off the extra calories I ate, and got back on track.35

Work colleagues notice I am loosing weight, asking If I was not working too hard!16

Went a little (okay, way) overboard with brownies and homemade candied nuts last night. Back on track today. Noticed that I had a ton of energy at the gym--absolutely bounced through my warmup run--so I decided to tack on a few sets of back squats, which I haven't done in months. Did 100 lbs on my last set, up from 85 last time, and 30 when I started lifting 4 months ago.
New personal best + using that indulgence to fuel a workout (vs running an extra few miles to burn it off) = victory!23 -

They make ring inserts that can make rings a couple sizes smaller without resizing. For example: https://www.amazon.com/Ring-Snuggies-Original-Adjusters-Assorted/dp/B0014DGXU80 -

Type "ring size adjuster" into the search box on Amazon - there are a bunch of products for this, of various types. I'm not saying to buy them there, but it's a quick way to see a bunch of options. Or just use a smaller guard ring on the same finger.2 -
I ran for 15 minutes/ 1.5 miles without stopping and without feeling like I wanted to die. I have never in my been able to run a mile without stopping. What I wouldn't give to tell high school me that this was possible.29

I bought a smaller stack ring as a stop for mine. Works like a charm! (something with a higher dome or gemstones work better than a very flat/no dome ring... So the other rings won't slip over it....)5 -
I have to up my calories now as my 11 month old is so active12
