I'm in. I did some walking on 1st August carrying my 5month old to our baby programme and back about 30 minutes in total. I did lot of walking around the house too that day, cleaning etc.
2nd August I had a really lazy day however I manage to do just over 7000 steps on my fitbit just walking round the house making bottles, going up and down the stairs so was please with myself. I also brought some walking shoes which are coming 3rd August hoping they come in the .or nine so I can go for a walk carrying my 5 month old.
Wednesdays will be easier to do longer walks as I haven't got my 3 year old and he has started copying his grandad saying his back hurts when he walks. 5th August the place I go do for baby programme is starting up a walk for moms round the local area I am hoping to go to which should help with walking too.

Okay, I'm in. I try to work out at least 5 times per week and walking is usually part of my workout if not the entire thing. At the gym I will use a cardio machine (treadmill, elliptical, etc) to warm up and cool down before lifting. I usually use Endomondo when I walk. I don't have it synched to MFP because the calories burned are so far off on that app. I just bought a FitBit so beginning today I will note my total steps.

August 2: 8,975 steps | 3.26 miles - Walking around the building while my daughter had her doctor appointment again. It's amazing how hot and sweaty you can get walking in air conditioning!

Numbers below may look a little off due to the fact that I use a Suunto Ambit 3 for the miles during my morning walk, and a Fitbit for the all day steps.

Walked round the house today wearing my new walking shoes in so they won't rub me when I go out to use them. Last 10 minutes I was stepping on a spot widening my leg space and then bringing the back into to put impact on my thighs just to get to 10,000 steps.3 -
