Yesterday, someone called me "tiny." Me?! And I know I have to get new clothes overall, but was shocked when the XS Petite sweater from J.Jill fit me just fine. EXTRA SMALL PETITE?! I cried a little in the store.
I was XL, XXL, and even 1X depending on the brand when I started this journey -- and haven't purchased clothes at all along the way. To not feel self-conscious or embarrassed -- it is truly hard to get my head around sometimes.33 -
Realized today after almost 6 months of logging here and eating within my calories most days... My skin is so much clearer ! I have had adult acne for 30 years. No more!!33

Bought a size 36 D bra today and have completely given up on the 40 C's I was wearing. I wasn't "wearing" them though...they were just randomly hanging on my body. Not a good look. (Do not understand the cup size change but if the bra fits...)
Also realized I am a medium not a large in shirts. Started at XL to XXL and thought a large would be fine. Pleasantly surprised at the Size medium.
Love this thread by the way! Every single person on here should feel proud.24 -
so a friend took a photo of a group of us. Looked at her phone without my classes. Asked if she could retake it as my tummy looked too large. She gave me a strange look and pointed out that wasn't me. I'm still adjusting to the smaller me.28

1) My mom came to visit me on my job the other day and almost didn't recognize me from behind as my clothes are hanging on me.
2) I got tired of seeing my underwear hang on me so I bought some new ones - 2 sizes smaller and they fit perfectly.
3) I actually weigh less than the weight on my drivers license.25 -
Was at the gym today walked by a mirror and I looked at my reflection and I said why the hell is the shirt laying the way it is on my back shoulders. Then I realized I have no stomach hanging out and my *kitten* is gone.11

The other day at work, one of my coworkers told me it was time to buy some new scrubs. Apparently my current ones are not only feeling too big but looking too big as well!17

My daughter volunteers for one of the county nature centers and as a perk, she gets free and/or reduced price use of the county Rec Centers. I used her perk today to buy a 25-entry RecCenter pass, which gives me access to the fitness centers, drop-in fitness classes, and indoor pools at the employee discount rate.
Not a huge victory in and of itself, but it has a lot of potential! The next victory will be actually going...22 -
Walked all around today, carrying items up hills! I wasn't winded at all. I felt great! My 10000 step a day cardio habit is really paying off. While I had some treats today, pizza and beer while tubing, I logged them and still ended up under calories for the day. I was complimented on how a t-shirt I was wearing fit!22

I am finding that as my journey continues, the NSV's still keep coming. That on its own is an NSV, so keep up the amazing work my fellow MFP loggers!!
1. On Friday I went shopping with my bestie to find a dress for a wedding in 2 months time. Not only did find and buy two in Size 8 Aus, I love how they look & this will help keep me on track!
2. Hubby told me that I look stunning. Something I have waited four years to hear, and although it's not what motivates me it was lovely to actually hear.
3. Today, whilst in the throws of completing my first Body Pump class, I snuck a peek in the mirror (encouraged by the instructor to check positioning) and I almost lost my balance. Couldn't believe THAT was my reflection. It was a very defining - and proud - moment for me. I've been smiling all day from that one xx

One of my co-workers brought in a huge pan of chocolate chip cookies. She makes the bestest most buttery and delicious cookies. In the past I would have had 4-5 over the 12 hour shift. I only had ONE! Doesn't mean I didn't think about it every time I walked by them.34

Went shopping last night for the first time since I've lost about 25lbs. I went into the store seriously hoping to fit into a size 14 since my 16 jeans were so baggy. I walked out with a freaking size 12!!!!!! And I fit into regular large tops!!!!!! That was my first time not having to go to the plus size section in like 9 years or something. It really was nice and kind of shocking.43

Lots of shopping was done this weekend I see from above! Me too! I went thrifting with a girlfriend and bought things in size Large and pants size 16 which will only fit for a little while I think but the 14s were a bit too tight. Has been over 25 years since I saw these things....and I am flying.26

Not only did I get up after far too little sleep - so I could get outside before the sun turned into the Texas Solar Death Ray - but while I was mowing the lawn, I purposefully took a few extra passes in the uphill direction to get that extra burn.

I've been stuck around the same weight for about 2 months, but I haven't given up and the scale is starting to move again. Previously I would have quit after maybe 2 weeks of the scale being stuck.33

I ran half marathon distance today!39

My fingers are starting to have definition and last night I went to scratch the back of my arm near my elbow from the underside with my arm raised instead of the over, and above the flabbiness that was hanging down, I felt muscles. Putting my arm down I realized I hadn't seen or felt it from above and having my arm down because the fat that is left in my arms is spread out instead of hanging down.17

Went to Under Armour for some more workout clothes, didn't think I'd find anything that fit me. Not only did stuff fit but I was able to buy shirts in a Large. I haven't been a large in at least 10 years.18

Currently 49 lbs down. Thankfully I rarely ditch clothes. Friday night movie date, trying on jeans, come across a pair that I've NEVER fit in (gift from my MIL). I'd been so used to the 26's falling off me that a SLIM fit pair of 24's was more than my brain could handle. I was convinced I was going to have a wardrobe malfunction. Took my husband 10+ minutes of coaching to get me to leave in those jeans. My brain has some catching up to do. I've also had to temporarily retire my wedding ring and resort back to my smaller engagement ring. I'm not sizing it till I'm done. That's a ways off but; one day at a time.24

Any recommendations for other places to hike kinda around atlanta? I want to get into come fall.11 -
Went down tow sizes from a size 18 to a size 16 and now almost a size 14! I am over the moon with this!33

For those going through plateaus.... My personal experience this time around has taught me that my pattern of losing is rather stop and go. I lose for a few weeks then hit a plateau. Several weeks go by and I'll be up and down with the same 5 lbs. I still keep going though. Sometimes I switch up my diet (like cutting out all simple carbs), upping my protein, etc. also, I examine my fitness routine, if I think I need to step it up or change something, I do. One thing I don't do is quit! But that is what I've done in the past. Eventually, as long as you're putting in the work you will lose again. My Dr. tells me my body is adjusting to a new weight and sometimes that takes time. It's normal to feel discouraged but don't let it rob you of your success.32

Did sprints today and didn't die!20

I have passed my longest time of keeping this up by 15 days. The other longest was 22 days. That is as far as I know though, the timeline on the news feed just says last year for anything older than 11 months. 37 days now since it is after midnight.14

I can definitely tell a change in some of my clothing! Jeans that were once "standing only" are now comfortable enough to wear all day, and a jumper that was fitted last month is now loose in the waist area13
