    Since it doesn't look irritated this morning I'll share the one I got last night. Anniversary tattoo, 15 years. And yes, I've got veiny hands, always have :/

    lots of nice ink here! I love all mine and really don't care about the trolls! why would anyone that is against tats open a thread titled "tats"? keep the ink coming fellow ink junkies!

    I don't have a tattoo but was wondering how you found the right artist for you?

    There has to be all kinds of different styles and all kinds of different artists to convey those styles.

    Was is a random choice or one from much due diligence ?

    @Motorsheen I went to a guy that a friend of mine went to and so I knew (from her tat) that he did good work. This is my second one from him. Hoping to get another soon.

    the first one i got, i designed and walked into a shop with the design. it was very simple. Pretty much a trace job. My second one (which i have yet to get), i designed as well. But, I am going into different shops with the design. Showing it to artists and talking with them about it and see if we click. That's how I will choose artist number 2.

    I hope to find a guy/girl who will be my go-to person.

    I went to several to look at portfolios and had a few draw up some stuff before I commited. I have used the same artist for all my work since as he ties in each piece the way I wanted them..

    @wolverine66 I like that approach. I think if my tattoos were a bit more elaborate I'd do the same. I did "design" (I add quotes because mine are just very simple, not overly artistic) two of mine, he suggested minor edits and we got to work.

    @Rlha2017 don't feed the troll! I looked at his profile and he's got plenty of tats himself. For some odd reason he just likes to get under people's skin for kicks. Weird if you ask me.
