No worries - take it easy on lunch and dinner. No biggie.1

I guess I just wanted to know how to make this day better0

Well, I go over my calories by a lot - frequently. For instance, I am set at 1500 cals. My maintenance is 1800. I regularly eat 2500+. Probably once or twice a week. It isn't a bad thing, if I'm up in weight afterwards it drops back off in the next couple days. We aren't perfect robots, there will be many days where I just feel like eating.
Take a long walk at lunch or after work.0 -
Try to fit in a workout session if you can. Also, realize that it's the weekly total calories that really matters, so if have a slip up on 1 day out of 7, most likely you'll still be okay and still lose or at least maintain.0

I did that the other day. But the time it was noon I had 200 calories left. Lots of veggies. Exercise for more calories. Good luck! You can do it!0

Eat a sensible lunch (if you're hungry) and dinner. Log it and tomorrow don't eat 1000 calories for breakfast.0 -
Just learn from it. Maybe in future plan what you're going to eat beforehand then you won't go over so easily.0

I'm impressed/jealous.
As others have mentioned, eat "lighter" throughout the day - just don't starve/deprive yourself. If it were me, I'd probably eat a small salad with some version of a low-Calorie dressing with a can of tuna for lunch and some veggies and a smallish piece of meat for dinner.
As also been mentioned, don't worry too much about it. Just try not to let it happen too often.

The day will only get better if you stop harping on what you did. Its done! I really did not see as such a bad thing though. But you do, so now focus on what ya gonna do the rest of the day.. eat lighter? Perhaps a walk or two to walk off the stress maybe?1

Nice day off! Back to the grind tomorrow.1
