Alright! So I make awesome buffalo dip and it's 139 calories per half cup so i thought, why not put it on pizza and make a meal! So here goes
Total Calories: 183 per slice (1/6 of pizza)
You will need:
8oz low fat cream cheese
1/2 cup of Franks Buffalo Sauce (or your favorite)
1/2 cup of Fat Free Ranch dressing
1 can of chicken (i use Bumblebee)
1/2 cup of Colby Jack cheese
I roll of Pillsbury Pizza Dough
Preheat over to 425
In a sauce pan, melt the cream cheese.
Once the cream cheese is melted, add buffalo sauce and ranch dressing.
Stir until smooth
Add chicken and stir until the chicken is all mixed into the sauce
On a greased cookie sheet, spread pizza dough.
spread 1/2 cup of the buffalo chicken mixture onto the dough.
Top with colby jack cheese
Bake (i did 12 minutes, but it depends on how you like your crust...for baking times look at the pillsbury wrapper thing)
Calorie Breakdown:
1/6 pizza dough: 160 calories
1/6 of sauce: 23 calories
Grand Total: Per Serving (1/6 Pizza)
183 calories
12 g fat
580 mg sodium
4 g fiber
5 g sugar
11 g protien
I just made it and its DELICIOUS. Also, 1/6 of the pizza is a decent size
You can use the extra sauce as dip for chips!
I got all the calorie information from calorieking.com and i double checked when I bought ingredients... enjoy!
NOTE: The sauce itself is great for parties! Make the sauce as directed, put into a small pan or serving dish (i use a bread pan), top with Colby Jack, and bake at 350 until the cheese melts. 139 calories per 1/2 cup. Makes 4 cups. Low calorie and delicious!
