I hit my mini goal of getting into the 150s. Weighed at 159.6 on Wed. The last few days back into the 160s which I'm hoping is due to water weight and TOM. Being in the 150s is so exciting for me and I'm excited to reach my initial MFP goal of 155, getting to normal BMI.9

My mini goal is making it back from my week away from home without having put on weight. No bathroom scales, no food scales, just me seeing if I can get this right for a week!3

For me, it's making it through all 60 days of Insanity. First time I tried, didn't even last a day. But I'll be on day 5 tomorrow.8

Keep at it, you'll get there. I recently completed couch 2 5k. I am amazed, and super proud that I can do it. Never would have believed it a few months ago.

Staying the course until our wedding anniversary on October 16th. Focusing on dates about a month or 6 weeks in the future seems doable.1

To not lose any weight of my bench press tomorrow morning, been cutting calories pretty deeply the last 2 weeks. I'll find out tomorrow morning if it's too deep2

Current mini goals that are within the 10 pound range are: to get to 284, which is my end of September goal. That is the same weight where I will have lost 20% of the weight I need to lose. That one is only 5.5 pounds away.
The other mini goal is to get to 280. That will be a total of 50 pounds lost and that is 9.5 pounds away.7 -
I managed to achieve my weekend mini goals, but am feeling the need to motivate myself through what will be a ridiculous week of potential food temptations. I have no less than five events that revolve around food. The most worriesome is a sit-down dinner; I want to enjoy it but not go nuts. Mini goal through Saturday: make it through the rest of the week not going over cals and carbs, except Friday's sumptuous dinner, where I will allow myself a taste of what I'd like to taste (i.e. dessert!!!). If I'm successful in this mini-quest, I'll treat myself to a movie at home on Sunday night! (I've also been on a 'no TV' program lately so this is a real treat.)4

I'm doing a 5k on Saturday. It's for ovarian cancer. I have a sister and a sister in law who are both battling this disease. They have been very supportive of my weight loss journey in the mist of fighting there own battles. My plan is to jog the whole race.12

I've been scratching my brain to think of a new one, as I survived my half-marathon on Sunday and I wasn't looking further ahead than that! I think the next one will be 'do a pull up by Christmas' (it's actually been a goal for a long time but my progress has been slooooooow).4

I just hit the 7 week mark and I'm down 10 pounds. I bought a new pair of pants at the beginning of the 7 weeks and now they are too big!! Must go back and get the next size down5

Run 2 miles straight! I'm so close! And after that, 3 miles straight.
Other mini-goal is to slim down as much as possible (not basing on weight, but look) to be Spider Gwen this Halloween next to my Spiderman boyfriend. Just ordered the suit this week, so here's hoping I won't need to wear the corset I already bought to look decent in it.5 -
My mini-goal/ Big goal is just around the corner. Running my first 10k this weekend! That's a big motivator to move!!6

I'm at 191lbs now. Another half pound and I'm down 60lbs total, so shooting for that, as well as being under 190. After that I'll chase down 180.8

Losing 30 pounds by midnight of December 31st. I am going to try to walk 10 miles a day until the end of the year. Probably won't be able to do every day but I am going to give it my best.
I hope you guys hit your goals!11 -
I am pleased to announce that my daughter is getting married in May of 2017. I started this journey on August 31st of 2016, to try and lose about 30-50 pounds by that time, so I am not an "old, fat" mother of the bride. She has finally found her "knight in shining armour" after a disasterous first marriage!! His parents are a 'young" middle 40's and my hubby and I are in our late 60's, so it is harder to take these rotten pounds off, but I am determined to get down to a 1X before May!!
