I vote for neither unless you really crave one of them, lol.

The better choice is not to agonize over irrelevant options, and just eat what you feel like as long as it's within your overall calorie goals. I certainly hope you're not planning to micromanage every food decision you make for the rest of your life.

Come up with 1-3 food targets - overall calories should be one of them, and then pick another 0-2 based on your personal health and fitness objectives. Then figure out what you want to eat as long as you make your targets consistently. Don't worry about anything else. Most of these "A or B" questions truly don't matter at all. Also it's fine on some days to not set targets or set different targets, as long as you don't do so enough to sabotage your progress.

You may want to invest in seeking the guidance of a nutritionist

You need to start trusting your judgment, second guessing every little is going to drive you nuts. Trust your instincts!

Thats why i went for the other TWO options and asking in their opinion what would the choose if They had to choose.

But no-one else's answer would be relevant anyway - if they prefer cereal or toast or cake or have different goals or would find a different treat or a way to force the limit to one piece ( eg by going to a cafe and ordering one slice)

And anyway a single x food vs y food choice doesn't make sense without the context of your whole diet.

You are seriously asking us whether you should eat bread with butter or cereal? For one day, it makes no difference. As a regular thing, it depends on what else you are eating.

For me, ugh, I'm not that into either, and would probably just happily accept being taken out for a nice dinner on my birthday (I'd know it was coming and plan it into the week), but assuming good bread I'd take the bread with butter, as that is at least tasty and I hate cold cereal.

But this just shows why asking other people is kind of pointless.

if you have self control issues, find a bakery that sells single items (single slice of cake, single cupcake, etc) and just buy one serving, take it home, and eat it.

You are making this more difficult than it really is.

    Do you get full quick?

Not on baked goods. But then again, I don't make a meal out of baked goods. For instance, we celebrated my daughter's birthday this weekend. I had a slice of cake for dessert, after I had a brat with sauerkraut, pasta salad, cooked carrots, jello, fresh fruit with a dip (marshmallow fluff and cream cheese). I filled up pretty good on those other things, and saved a little room for the small slice of cake! It was just enough for me to appreciate it, and I moved on.

TL;DR: if you want the cake, have the cake!

Yes - It is greek yogurt with a touch of Stevia whipped into it.

Imo it does because a place like the cheesecake factory for ex can

A place like the Cheesecake Factory can what???

    Do a single serve piece??

So do all cafes, don't they?

Nobody goes to a cafe, gets a cappacino ( or drink of choice) and orders a whole cake.

That was kind of my point - if you have control issues, go somewhere that you can just buy a single slice.
