Has anyone else tried this? The entire pint is 240 calories. I am eating 103 grams right now for 88 calories and the texture and taste is just like regular ice cream. It is a little pricy at about $6 a pint so I know everyone situation is different, but it is delicious!

Use the Search function up there. It's been much discussed.3

We have something similar here in Australia, I forked out $12 for a small tub and it tasted like watered down chocolate ice crystals. I had absolutely no fear of binging on that particular "ice cream"...1

Not available in Canada0

I tried it a couple of weeks ago. It was good!0
-
I spend more money on Halo Top than I did on cigs when I was a smoker.17
-
I buy a pint every week, it's amazing and totally satisfies my sweet tooth.1
-
I just finished a pint of the mint chip. My local Kroger sells Halo Top for $3.99 a pint, so I can afford to eat it a couple of times a week.1

LOVE it! Had some last night and will tonight. Yum-MY! Birthday Cake is my favorite and Chocolate is my second. But I like them all.0
-
Hhmmmm maybe your version is much better than ours. What's the texture like, is it creamy or icy?0
-
I love the mint chip halo top. way better than arctic zero.1
-
What's it made of to get the higher protein and lower calorie count? (I'd look it up, but I've never seen it.)0
-
I find it vaguely unsatisfying, but I can't really say why . . . it just seems, somehow, substanceless. Tastes OK, though, and even has a bit of protein. Just not what I'm looking for in an "ice cream", I guess. I've tried it a few times, thinking I must be wrong, but have consistently ended up wishing I'd eaten something else instead.0

Creamy. Not as much as the real deal but it makes for a good substitute and definitely much better than Arctic Zero.2 -
Another vote for Halo Top being much better than Arctic Zero (which tastes like frozen tears of human sadness to me). I've tried the Chocolate, Vanilla, Mint Chip, Birthday Cake and Lemon Cake, with the Chocolate and Mint Chip being my favorites. I find it almost as satisfying as "real" ice cream, for a lot less calories. Now if they would just make my favorite ice cream flavor (chocolate peanut butter), I'd truly be a happy man!7

Ahhaa ok, I think I'm getting arctic zero mixed up with halo top!0 -
Arctic zero was so terrible. I had to blend it up with almond butter and milk before it was remotely edible and....well it kind of defeats the purpose of a low cal ice cream when you're adding 250 calories to it to make it bearable.
Halo top is my jam though. I'm getting some for my birthday this week.1 -
I can actually get down with AZ. I spend another 50-100 calories doctoring it up but is worth it to me because I need to eat a high volume of food to be sarisfies0

I wasn't saying that I had trouble finding it in the search function. I was posting this for those on MFP who are finding out that their ice cream is clocking in well over 500 calories and are looking for an alternative.
And I agree, I tried Arctic Zero and it is icy, this was creamy and good. And Arctic Zero costs more. I can't wait to try all the flavors.2 -
I'm SOLD.. headed to Kroger tomorrow for a taste of this Halo stuff!0

I tried the Lemon Cake one, and I wish it was more lemon tasting (I'm a huge fan of citrus flavors). But for what it was, I was happy. I ate it faster than I usually eat ice cream (I'm just not a big ice cream person in general). When I get the urge to get some ice cream again, birthday cake is on my list.0

Chocolate Mocha chip and mint chip are my favorates had all flavors but strawberry my store has never had that one yet. My friends tend to like birthday cake flavor the most. I sometimes add pb2 to chocolate to make peanut butter cup like flavor...1

I loved Halo Top, but Halo Top didn't love me. Between the lactose and sugar alcohols, I can't eat it any more.
I'm sad, because in a thread in the Food section, there's rumbles telling of them coming out with ten new flavors.
Anvilhead might get his wish of Chocolate Peanut Butter!2 -

I'm curious about these new flavors. Since 3 of the flavors out now are no go (I'm not big on chocolate, and chocolate-mint is not a flavor I even like thinking about. xD).

Hmmm. I like the Arctic Zero. Never had the Halo but would try it. I don't have much of a sweet tooth and only want ice cream occasionally.
One thing I do like that is low cal, sweet and healthy is frozen watermelon. Cut it up and freeze it. It tastes like granita and has almost an Italian ice texture.0 -
I like Halo Top much better than the other alternatives but it doesn't agree with my intestines, apparently.
Sigh.1 -
I REALLY want to try Halo...I love anything lemon - Has anyone tried the Lemon Flavor?0
-
I tried Arctic Zero and hated it. I just looked on their website and saw that my local Kroger carries Halo Top, so I'm going to have to get some and try it out.
Hardest part will be picking a flavour.1 -

By that definition, everything on MFP forums is an old subject.

; ; I went to Whole Foods and saw both Halo and Arctic Zero. I tried Arctic Zero, and it was...like if you made hot chocolate that was way too watered down and then went cold.
Now the Halo is where it's at. It tastes mostly like real ice cream and so few calories. I like the variety of flavors. It's good for a monthly stock up (for when I binge x.x)0
