Oh jeeze, I'm a little of both.
Love Deadpool and Batman0 -
Marvel all time
Marvel never disappoints it's fans !
waiting eagerly for strange things to happen0 -
marvel, always loved Batman, but Marvel is the better universe0

Neither - Image all the way! (eta that while you can't compare universes with Image like you can w marvel and dc, I've yet to read anything bad that they've published and it's hard to argue with a publisher where the creators actually retain copyright and ownership or their material. Even if I'm not a big fan of Robert Kirkman's comics he appears to make a decent COO)0

I've never not known the X-Men or Batman really. I grew up with those characters. I didn't really get in to the other stuff until later. I guess I'm more for Marvel though.0
-
Hard to choose. I love Batman, and he is still probably my favourite superhero. But as a franchise, I prefer Marvel. You just can't beat Stan Lee. Or Deadpool for that matter!0

I second that. There are a number of DC characters I'm quite fond of (Joker, Green Arrow, and Spectre to name a few), but I like the Marvel universe better0 -
Marvel but Batman and Joker are my faves like most of the people here have stated!1

Definitely Marvel. Punisher is the best. FrankenCastle would be great for Halloween.0

It's so hard to pick either. I grew up on Batman and Superman. But, Marvel's killing it with the movies these days.0

I wish the X-men movies didn't suck. Deadpool was amazing!0

DC seems to be a little more cerebral to me. Even going back to its Detective Comics beginnings with early Superman and Batman.
Besides, is there a better American myth/legend/story than the one of Bruce Wayne, whether it is told by Bob Kane or Frank Miller or whoever?0 -
Marvel movie universe, but DC comic book universe! Marvel's books suck just like DC's movies.0

While I agree that DC seems to fail to deliver on the movie front as well as they could and should, you don't find Marvel's movies to be a little, for lack of a better phrase here, campy? Or is it that factor that makes them good for you?
Of course, with that said, is there anything more campy than the 1970's Superman movie?!

Why can't it be both0
