    Feel free to add me as well. Started last month and have been doing pretty well now that I've realized I'll have my ups and downs. Very picky eater so it's been trial and error (more errors than anything else) and could use some support from like minded. I'm better at encouraging others than myself! Have lost 19 lbs since I began this new phase but have way more to lose (I'd like to aim for another 80-100, with small monthly goals to not overwhelm or disappoint myself especially with holidays coming). Slow and steady is hard sometimes especially when cravings hit.

    Love this thread! Feel free to add me, anyone! I'm having an October Fitness Challenge for my mfp friends. It's just to help us stay active and motivated. I'll be sharing my methods and exercises that help me lose weight. Anyone is welcome to join the challenge.

    Highest weight- 386lbs
    Current - 268
    Goal - 140ish.

    Hi! My all time high was 286 ! I felt horrible . So I heard about MFP, I immediately downloaded it. It has been really helpful .

    The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. (And coffee! :D) There will be setbacks along the way, notice I said will and not might. The difference between whether you succeed or quit is if you get back on the path and keep going after that happens. Slow and steady wins the race!

    Please add me. Like soneone said earlier I went from 250lbs to 181lbs. My mom took I'll and having to nurse her for about a year I ended up gaining 40lbs. So far I've kissed the first 20lbs. and now on my second time goal to lose the additional 20. I need all the support I can get to get back to where I left off so I can finally get to my goal of 135lbs.

    Whatever you do guys don't concentrate on the pounds as we will often lose inches and look just as great! The first time in, I felt discouraged as I didn't see my hard work on the scale but boy was I sure happy to see it gone in inches and dress size! I went from a 24/26W to a 14/16! And I loved how I looked so much that am dying to at least get back there again!
