I had my hair dyed red copper on weds and I cannot wait to wash my hair and it's getting yuck, but I need to leave it maybe one more day before I wash. I do use a good sulfate free shampoo0

To be honest, I've never tried it. I spent a ton dying my hair all kinds of pretty colors once. But after work outs, there was no way dry shampoo would get it clean. The women who dyed my hair (and many others) were mad that I washed my hair so much, saying you should only wash it like once a week. They all swear by it. Id be worth giving a try. Hair colors fade too fast.0 -

I don't think it does. When I use it I spray it into my hair, let it sit for aproc 20 secs or so, brush through my hair and then blow dry it out. When you first spray it, it looks a little white, or atleast the kind I use does.1 -

I started using dry shampoo for that reason, i didnt want my red color to fade faster than normal when I had my hair dyed.
Its not really used to get your hair clean but mainly to give your hair a feel that it is. My hair when I don't wash it gets really oily and dry shampoo is used to make it feel that its not and that its been washed.3 -
