 After a strong start to the month I seem to have tapered off, Got a gym membership 1/2 way through this month and started working with a Personal Trainer.6

 You may not have tapered off as much as you are likely retaining more water due to new muscle movements while working with the trainer. The water retention could be masking some of the loss right now. This too shall pass.
