Happened upon this challenge while looking at posts. I am very late to join in, but am going to hop on and hope to lose a few pounds between now (Oct 30) and end of year. Hopefully just posting will help me with some much needed motivation!

Well, a loss is a loss, even if it's 0.1! On Friday I was down 2 lbs so the smaller loss = Halloween celebrations and bloat. I have a challenging weekend ahead of me (girlfriend's weekend) so I will need to be extra diligent during the week.

Forgot to post on Monday! Slow and steady loss... at this point my goal weight may be closer to 170 by the end of the year to be realistic. I am still aiming to be in the 160s at year's end, though! The 160s for me was a time when my weight wasn't something I tracked (probably early high school) so I don't actually remember ever seeing it on the scale. In the past when I've lost weight, the low 170s also became my turning point to start regaining. So the real goal is to not let myself do that again.
