I know that it isn't even Halloween yet but my Christmas movie watching season, begins every November 1st & since it's Mischief Night, well I am certain that not waiting until after, Halloween and/or Thanksgiving, to create this thread'll bother some! So what's your favorite, Christmas movie? Mine's: Ms. Scrooge!

My fiance and I try to watch It's a Wonderful Life every Christmas and when I was growing up my family would watch the 1951 A Christmas Carol every xmas night.

But I am a sucker for Elf amd Home Alone.

I watch the 1st 3, of the Home Alone's; the 4th doesn't interest me but I like the 3rd 1, the best because it was 1 child, against 4 sophisticated spy criminals; instead of the 2 basic home burglars!

Home alone, lost in NY. It hits close to home. They show places I hang out at often. Especially the scenes in central park.

That's neat & I love when he, was on the top of; 1 of the Twin Towers!

The movie means a lot to me. I saw it when I was a teenager and thought, man, NYC is the best place to be on Christmas. And it powered the dreams of a meek and powerless teenager. Ten years later, I achieved it and the first Christmas after my new job in the city, I watched the movie again.

It is true. NY made Christmas for what it is. Much of the traditions we have were cooked up by writers who were looking out through their little apartments at the skyline and were imagining.

:'( I was getting emotional, reading that; well said! :*

It's a Wonderful Life...reminds me of my dad, I cry like a baby when I watch it. God I miss him so much (yesterday he was gone nine years, I still can't believe it).

Of course I love all the cartoon specials such as Rudolf, Frosty and Charlie Brown.

Unfortunately I dislike Chevy Chase, I don't have a valid reason to; I'm just not a fan but I do like Juliette Lewis, so I might watch it!

I am very sorry, for your loss! I lost my Father, when I was 2 1/2 years old. I don't remember him, so I don't feel like; I lost someone but it does bother me, that I've out lived him; by nearly a dozen years. A parent's always suppose to be, older than their child & it's a possibility, that I might become old enough; to be his Mother 1 day!

    I love cartoons also!
