Lol
My highest is 8 lbs over about 6 days. It takes so long for me to lose it. Kind of reduces the yumminess of the carb-y salty stuff for me.3 -
I'm thinking
Doritos and chilli and red wine on Thursday
Gym weds and Friday
Ovulation
Still 5lbs ....messes with your head a little :huh:9 -
Yeah, even when you know what causes it, it can be annoying. I lose strength at the beginning of my period and even though I know to expect it, it makes me mad every time. If only the anger made me stronger.6

Ate Chinese last Sunday, up six pounds on Monday, all gone by Thursday. I took a step back on that one. Definitely a record for me4

I've been maintaining for the past month and since then my weight constantly fluctuates by about 4lbs up and down. I actually find this infuriating.4

My biggest was 11 pounds in 24 hours after a massive CKD carb refeed. God that was a miserable night.5

Well at least I'm not the only one!!1

When I eat Chinese I can go up as much as 8lbs.2

I went up 10 lbs on a weekend away skiing in May, that was my largest. I believe I over did it on activity, was full of muscle inflammation and body didn't take well to flying out from sea level to do skiing 6 hours a day at 12000 vertical and flying home same day after third day of skiing. Left Friday, skied Friday, Saturday Sunday, flew home on red eye Sunday night, weight 10 lbs more than when i left on Monday. It did drop quickly with no special effort, just regular life, but took a week or so to come back in normal. But it was very scary to see that much weight on the scale.6

Beats any of my biggest shifts!0

I am up 3.4lbs this week, despite having a CICO calculation of -1.5lbs. The past few weeks have been strange for me. I follow a Keto lifestyle & exercise 5x a week. Nothing has changed. However, my steady loss has stopped dead (and even increased this week) and by my CICO calculations (which have been dead on accurate for 10 months), I am 'owed' over 7lbs from the past 4 weeks!
No treats, cheats or deviations in diet & exercise = Extremely Frustrating!!3 -

You've got this.

Haha! I had a similar experience yesterday. I ate a huge portion of Yaki-Udon for lunch, and I was 5.5 lbs heavier when I went to bed last night than I was yesterday morning. Luckily, this morning I was within a pound of yesterday morning's weight.0

I've gone up like 7 over night. I've also cut 8lbs over night (accidentally, for a power lifting meet).0

Nope over a day doesn't count. Has to be under same conditions e.g. Morning to morning Sorry5 -
Messes with your head even if you can pinpoint the reason. I got shot full of steroids last week and put on massive doses of anti-inflammatory drugs - I gained 10 lbs in 2 days! Not a comfortable feeling.2

It's all muscle, don't worry13

I went on a 6-day backpacking trip. Carried about 40 pounds of gear for 45 miles and 12,000 foot elevation gain.
Came back 10 pounds heavier...then dropped 15 pounds in the week after I got back.2 -
Love my non actionable gains. I get fascinated by how much I can pee the day after.
Got to admit- it is usually whole weekend away with the girls, or vacations that take me ove a 5 lbs gain.
You have my respect @SueDonim
Cheers, h.2 -
Jumped up 6 lbs over night in the middle of October and I still can't figure out why that happened. Never have had that much of a jump for my period, which didn't come for two more weeks anyway (it was late), and I had already ovulated, no extra salt or carbs the days before... and it took 3 1/2 weeks to get back to where I was. I was starving for the week after the jump, also. Talk about frustrating. Thought I might have been pregnant, but no.
My dr told me there's no reason to check my hormones and therefore didn't run a panel when I had requested it. Currently changing drs, in case anyone was wondering.4 -
My biggest jump was 4.2 pounds from one morning to the next. That day I had gone canoeing for the first time in months, so my muscles were probably retaining water, and I had a burger and fries, which is pretty rare.0

Up 3 lbs since yesterday (binge ate carbs around 11 pm, 2 and 4 am)...jogging more today!1

I went up 5lbs overnight last week or so. It's gone now.0
