Well I've been struggling as of late so I decided to come back to the success thread and have a peek around. It's helped remind me of what people can accomplish when they really want something! So, here is my progress so far. I started Sept 1/15. The comparison pic was taken at the beginning of June 2016. from 240 lbs to around 160 lbs in the June pic. Still holding there at this time but trying to inspire myself to get down to my goal of 140!

I am still a strong pear. I have about 8-ish pounds of body fat i want to lose and i gain almost all directly on my butt, inner thighs, hips, and lower stomach. There's a 12-inch difference between my hips and waist.
Even though i consider myself "reaching" my goals, just wanted to say that my body shape has remained relatively the same it's just smaller now.

First time posting before and after pix...I hope I do it right! First pic is me at least 90 lbs heavier in 2013. Hard to find a before shot of me because I hated my picture taken...I found this one and remembered how horrified I was when I saw it after vacation. :-(
The other pix were taken today. 5'1", 136 lbs. I'd be happier with my bottom half if I was 10 lbs lighter...but my top half and face become skeletal at that point. And I can still have the occasional boozey night out or pizza fest at this weight...which I think helps me not to give up, binge and re-gain. :-) Maybe one day I'll take a shot at another 5-10 lbs loss...but I'm still pretty happy where I am.

The first two were when I originally started back in 2011 I believe it was...maybe even 2010. I've struggled and yo-yo'd since then... at the moment I'm doing more weight training than anything...last time I weighed myself I was 173, then when I went to the doctors they told me I was 184. This uh...mirror may be flattering or something cause I'm even baffled by my current weight and physic. Never trust the damn scale.0
