My bright yellow bike jacket zips all the way up now. When I bought it in March there was No Way. I've been wearing it open all this time, till today was cold.....zipped it up without thinking then did a double take.14

I can sit cross legged on the couch without having to physically grab and move my leg over the other, ( not sure if that makes sense) and I can sit like this comfortably for a long while.
I know what you mean... I can do it without the "pull" too now, but I don't find it very comfortable!
I can't wait for this day, along with the day I no longer have to lift my foot to the iron to get on my horses (currently I even have to do it with my short horses3 -

I bought new pants yesterday at Costco without trying them on. I was thrilled that they were a size 10 (I used to wear a size 18). I wore them to work today and everyone said I should have bought a size 8 instead lol17

It was cold this evening. So I hauled out flannel pj's and just to check, put on a button up pajama top that last year this time was too small to get across my chest. Tonight, I buttoned it up, in front of the mirror.
This is very encouraging!

Having been a 4XL person previously I put on my L t-shirt this morning when I got out of bed. Walked to the bathroom and all I thought when I looked at myself in the mirror was 'Dammit, i'm skint I can't afford new clothes again!!!' Hahaha.
Those Large t shirts are now too large!! I can't wait to be buying mediums wondering how small the smalls come up!

I went bike riding with my sons for the first time this year. When we were riding up a hill, when I stood up to pedal, the bike didn't almost flip like it did last year22

I can totally relate, the last two times i flew i had to hold my breath to do the buckle. Always felt like i was this close to needing an extension. My next trip will be more comfortable . Good for you1 -

Had another co-worker ask me the other day if I have been losing weight as it really looks like I have been. After I confirmed, she asked what I am doing for it and all the good ole questions. Just kept saying I'm looking great and to keep up the fantastic work.12

Had 2 different coworkers tell me I look great/ask "you've lost a ton of weight havent you??" and while I don't do it for the recognition, it does feel good!15

A friend I haven't seen for a while asked "Are you still on the diet" I said "Yes" he said "you need to stop now you are wasting away" Duh it's not a diet it's a life style change and I'm stronger, fitter and thinner than ever. But it was nice for the change to be noticed9

Today I discovered that having a small serving of desert feels so much better than binging on sweets. I had enough calories left in my daily budget to have a little sweet and it was so much more satisfying than eating too much.23

My sister in law told me I have bony knees!!! From 375lbs to 193lbs I'm now not ashamed to wear shorter skirts but it did make me laugh.30

I should qualify this by stating that she's a very slender, petite UK size 8. I started out at a UK 28/30. By the time I've finished, I think that I'll be in a smaller size than she is.
I never knew that I had a small frame . . .30 -
I can now fit into a size 11/12!!! I haven't worn this size in over 10 years! I started at 16/18, it feels good to see the progress.21

I've had a pretty rotten few weeks with life in general and my health specifically to a point whereby it's been affecting my exercise patterns, including a daily 30-mile cycle ride. The poor weather/shorter days haven't helped much either This has been really annoying me as I'd got into a good routine until all of the problems started and has been thinking of changing things up to become more challenging (and fun - well, for me anyway ).
Today however, I finally bucked the trend. The rain had stopped by midday (and none forecast for the rest of the afternoon) and even though it was freezing cold, and very windy, I got my bike out and started out on my usual ride, knowing that I had enough time to complete it whilst there was still plenty of light.
I'd got to the halfway point and I'd really had enough. It was so cold and I was going slower than usual due to the wind and also because I'm a bit out of practice. I had reached the point of "no return" on the ride - turning left meant I'd have to cycle 10 miles further than turning right. Turning left is what I'd usually have done without thinking about it but over the last few weeks I've been using any excuse to turn right and head for home, meaning a 20-mile route instead of 30 miles.
I found myself trying to find an excuse to turn right. We needed some shopping - but I had time to complete the ride before the shops closed. I was cold - so what, I'd warm up again. I was tired - but I could rest when I got home. I was going too slowly - so what, at least I was out there doing what I needed to do. I had a pile of laundry to do - again, so what, I could do it later. The wind was making things difficult - well, it wasn't going to hurt me to go a bit slower, even if I had to put more effort in.
So, after all of these arguments with myself, some of which were really quite persuasive, I found my resolve and turned LEFT (straight up a very steep long hill, the type where you shove the bike into a really low gear and peddle like crazy).
I am so glad that I did turn left and completed my ride. I would have felt that I'd cheated myself had I turned right. And although I was absolutely freezing cold when I got home (and have only just warmed up some six hours later), and had to go straight out again to get the shopping, it feels really good to be back in my routine again. Next time will be easier and I won't even think about turning right.
I am buzzing!
Today, I didn't have to think about which direction to go in. No arguments with myself. Automatically turned left and completed a 31-mile ride25 -

I CAN relate. I am now close enough in size to my 21year old daughter, that she's having fun borrowing stuff, but for the most part I wouldn't be caught dead in her clothes.14 -
I did 3 sets if 8 push ups, albeit a beginner fashion. Took a pause after 4, and that gave me a little more energy to finish the sets. Yay!15

Been visiting family overseas and the comments were as follows
"Theres nothing left of you"
"Youre fading away"
" Wow youre shrinking"
One family member took several seconds to recognise me lol.
Managed to keep exercising despite the dubious food choices...lol can't wait to get back into my normal routine.18 -
I hate chin ups with a deep dark passion. Why? Because they're a lot of work.
After weeks of building up some muscles and concentrating on weights, I did 7 unassisted chin ups, while last week I could only do 3. My husband was proud! Haha.26
