Went from 44 waist and 3 XL shirt to a 34 waist and L shirt. I was 18 the last time I was this size. Not only do I fit into my new sizes, I have room to spare. And I am staying like this for life! Shopping for Levis and clothes is fun as hell now! Everything fits, there is plenty of stock on the shelves and you can buy the good style stuff.

my garmin tracked my walking speed as 4.0 instead of the usual 3.5 mph!!
I git my over 10000 steph goal 5 days in a row without knee pain!. usually I have to back down after two days and on day four ramp up but need a low day every 3rd day...yay my knee is not holding me back. today I go for day 6!22 -

I forgot to do laundry last night and didn't have clean jeans for work this morning so I dug through my "too small" clothes and found some jeans I haven't been able to wear in at least 5 years. The last time I'd tried them on they were still way too tight and I couldn't button them. Not only did I get them buttoned but they're actually pretty comfy25

I've logged over 1,000 running miles since I started tracking my mileage on 27 Feb 2016. Prior to that I was mostly doing intervals on the treadmill and elliptical. In the beginning, I wasn't running more than 3-5 miles at a time and my average pace was 10-11 minutes per mile.
In June I managed my first 10-mile run and that has been my "regular" distance since. I hit my best time a few weeks ago at 89 minutes and change. My biggest week was 70 miles; that was part of a 4 week run where I logged a total of 190 miles. My average pace is down to around 9.5 minutes per mile...this I would like to work on.
I'll run my first official half marathon in 16 days...37 -
I started doing C25K again even though i already ran a 5k in November, just to gently get back into running. Running was starting to lose the fun while I was training. Back when I first started in January 2016, I would get to a stoplight and then usually it would be time to turn around. This time I ran a block past that same stoplight before it told me I was halfway. Pretty cool since that means I walk faster now, not just run faster. I am starting on week 4 to casually prep for a 5k on new years day.18

It's that time of year when vehicles in parking lots are really dirty from the salt and slush on the roads. I used to hate it because my coat would always get dirty from rubbing against my car as I got in and out. But this winter I've noticed that my coat isn't getting dirty. Now there's more room between my vehicle and the next one in the parking lot26

I noticed while doing laundry that I had accidentally worn one of my daughter's turtlenecks and didn't even notice that I could wear a size small! On the flip side, I just bought 2 smaller bras.15

I had a PR in my deadlifts today. I wasn't expecting it, but I really pushed it and was happily surprised! 68% of my bodyweight!24

I have a high-quality sports bra that I bought some time ago that I had never worn because I stupidly didn't try it on and it was SUPER tight, like I-can't-breathe-I-may-pass-out-tight (why I never returned it, I don't know). So for the meantime until I could wear it, I bought a cheap sports bra from Walmart and have been wearing that. Yesterday I couldn't find my Walmart bra so I thought "What the heck, maybe I'll be able to stand it for one workout" and grabbed my good sports bra instead. Went to put it on and it actually fit! Comfortably, even! I was in shock a bit because I didn't think I'd been losing much lately. Had the biggest smile on my face through my whole workout.37

I was about to add this exact same NSV for myself when I noticed your post. I fit into a 34 waist yesterday (down from 44) and I’m also down to a Large shirt after starting at 3XL.

Nah, the one thing I DON'T do is share my bath - even though I adore the man my baths are definitely "me" time.8 -
I am total rookie with my lifting (only been at it for about 4 months) but the trainer asked if she could video my deadlift this morning "you are really a strong woman and your form is text book, you are a natural". I wanted to cry actually but i didn't..... and then I said "hell no you cant video me- catch me in 40 pounds and maybe. LOL. I still have body image issues". LOL24

My beautiful black satin blouse, which fit me terribly (pulling hard across the shoulders & upper back, straining and cutting at my belly & hips), not only fits now but is actually a little bit loose... even across the hem, and even when I'm sitting down!24

Seeing a picture from a year ago pop up on face book and knowing I don't look like that now. (50 lb difference)
Wednesday I found a top that fit me at a thrift shop. Unfortunately it didn't have a tag on it and they are not allowed to sell it without a tag but they would send it back and price it to have it out the next day. So yesterday we went back to check to see if it was back out and while we were there they brought out the rack of new items and I found a winter coat in brand new condition that fit me for a great price and got the shirt too. Just in time too as the unusually warm fall we have had here in Iowa is about to change.
Not losing any weight for most of November and not letting it throw me off completely and starting in the right direction again this week. And knowing that while December will be challenging I can do this.13 -

It's somewhere between 1/4 and 1/2 mile.
Dang. It was bugging me I didn't know the distance around the park. I knew it took me just over 5 minutes to run it, but I dug around and found out it is a 1/3 mile loop!16 -
My cowboy boots don't touch my calves and my wedding ring spins on my index finger. I can't even wear it on my ring finger because it flies off.17

Going to a sales conference yesterday for work and avoiding EVERY sweet offered--decadent pastries, cookies at break, and the absolutely delectable-looking apple crumble with ice cream at Keen's Chophouse. Stayed on plan all day!32

I'm still here enjoying all these NSVs, but the ability to shake off misbehaving scales deserves special recognition in my book. Good for you!

I had a weird moment at McDonald's today. I ordered a chicken sandwich off the value menu and a coffee. The young man working the drive thru asks, "You only want one chicken sandwich?" I was a little insulted for a second then realized there were no windows or cameras and he couldn't see me. Then I realized most customer must order multiple items off the value menu and I was apparently ordering less food than the average McDonald's customer and also knew it would make a satisfying lunch. So, that is my silly NSV for today. I eat less than a typical McDonald's customer.50

Stopped in local diner for a bacon & egg sandwich. I haven't been there for months and the waitress looked at me and ask "How much weight have you lost?"
I didn't know how to answer. I have been losing or trying to lose since Jan 2013, I hit -100 in Feb 2015. This year I rebooted in Jan and Have lost 35#. So my total loss is -143 over four years but I think she just noticed my latest drop of 35#. Made me realize I'm still changing.
Another -35# will get me below 200!

I was stupid and managed to hurt myself deadlifting.
Now this to anyone else would seem stupid and not a victory at all. there are 2 reasons why it was a victory. first was that I'm trying to go bigger and heavier than ever before building strength and losing weight. The second victory is that instead of giving up strength training I can't wait to get back to the rack and start setting new prs.
Right now running doesn't hurt so I'm piling on the miles. Heading towards my miliage goal for the end of 2016.20 -
The scale hasn't changed in a couple weeks, but my new smaller size jeans are getting baggy...yay15

At the doctor's office today the doctor thought the nurse had noted my weight wrong...she thought I must weigh 20 pounds less than I do!25 -
My 16 year old daughter was standing behind me last night and said, "wow Mom you don't have as much fat on your back as you use to." It is the first comment I have had about 60 pounds lost, I'll take it.39
