Day 28 4:00. Why do my thighs hurt so much?

Travelling all day tomorrow but will see. I find it hard to consider going longer :#

Yeah me too. And hey, you're right, these 30 sec jumps are killers!

None of that matters though! We are all kick-in' it!!
    Safe travels!

Came across an article that was forwarded from the life hack link sent to this group previously.

From a study it was concluded that applying an unstable condition to the lower limbs using a dynamic cushion is considered more effective during plank exercises. In this article the effectiveness was referring to the strength built up/thickness of lower abs increasing (transverse abs).

So perhaps with thighs burning moving feet apart /together during the 4mins could increase effectiveness of plank on abs but also alleviate the burning.
Just geeking out on planks a little here.

    More importantly,
Day 27= 4mins done!! I had at least 2 or 3 goes before, then on my last go I reached 4mins!!!!!
This was certainly another level of focus and another level of a c h e.

Excited there is not long to go for the peak of this challenge!!

All the best to you guys going for 4:30!!!

Ok, that was just dumb!! Horrible! Awful!

I listened to a song instead of praying to a stopwatch. Such a bad idea!! I swear it hurt worse!

    Day 28: 4:00 min hold!

    Ouch!
    Stopwatch all the way....

So in order to sych myself up that 5min is doable I looked up the world record for planking.

The men’s World Record for the longest time held in a plank is 4 hours
26 minutes, achieved by Mao Weidong of China in Beijing, China on 26
    September 2014.

Before this, the record was held by American George Hood who held a
plank for 3 hours, 7 minutes, and 15 seconds.

I don't think I will be breaking that record anytime soon.

Tojo_73: no way!!!! That's like incredible. They must, just must be meditating and planking....like seriously, no shakes? Ache? It does demonstrate further how much it is about the text of the strength of mind.
Feeling a little nervous. But here goes...going for it. Hope it's gonna be ok.

Guys 5min and day 30 is in the bag-the ache wasn't anymore than 4:30s.
    Feels a little surreal this.
I cannot wait to hear how you guys get on!!!
