I just started watching my steps using my phone. I sometimes lay my phone down for a while though, so I likely have a few more steps each day than is actually recorded. I'm aiming for at least 6000 steps a day. I'm planning on just trying to walk more for a few weeks, then I might give C25K another shot.

@rhaiin - It looks like you have a good start to your goal. I too was using my phone too and laying it down. I got a cheap clip-on pedometer for six or seven dollars to keep track of my steps. It is nothing fancy and I don't miss out on any steps.2

I made a few laps around the casino tonight to get some extra steps in. Weekends are lazier for me, so I'll really to try tomorrow if I want to get near my goal. It's too cold to walk outside, so I might finally dust off the treadmill and try to get into the habit of using it again.0 -

Found this wonderful thread and would like to make myself accountable here. A few months ago I was up to 20k daily steps and was maintaining that for quite some time. I started prolotherapy/PRP treatments on my ankle and since then, it's all I can do to get 5,000 steps any given day. It's been pretty depressing for me and has in turn resulted in a 22 lb. weight gain. I want to get back to where I was so bad but my physical limitations really get me down. Today I will strive to get 6,000 steps.4
