Question for WOMEN?????

Yes but it doesn't last...it DOES go back down once my body is back to normal again. It's annoying but nothing we can do about it! We're retaining water and lots of other fun things! **gag**0

I do then have a great loss after.
Me too !! I feel like i only loose like a pound for 3 weeks then Tom comes and the week after im down 4-5 pounds and it stays. Weird but i guess I'll take it0 -
I guess my question is are you guys on a birth control? I am, and I don't really have this issue. Or not that I have really noticed!? I absolutely do not lose during TOM, but I don't notice a substantial weight gain.
Detailed question because I always wonder: Do you guys weigh with/without products in/on or just try to weigh when you put on fresh in the morning? I am very picky about how I weigh...
Im on birth control ( a pill).. I stay the same for 3 weeks on the pill, only losing up to a lb or 2 if lucky, then TOM comes and I drop 4-5 lbs, and it stays down. I just weigh my self in the am after freshening up..0 -
I always do due to bloating and water weight. I take Midol the day before and the day of weigh in because it helps with both. HTH0

I always gain weight during my period usually 2-3 lbs. I take excedrin menstrual pills to relive the bloating and I don't drink any carbonated beverages. Try that and see if it helps keep that weight down.0

Well, you may just want to drink some milk...

i usually gain a little weight (about 2-3 lbs) but i typically equate it to bloating....i personally skip recording me weight the week that i am on my cycle0

I was thinking the same thing when my "Aunt Flo" came to visit this morning. I am going to weigh in next week instead of this weekend. I would hate to kill my motivation.0

I have the same problem i gain at least 5 pounds during my time of the month. i still exercise and eat healtyh too. It is just water retention.0

I would skip this week's weigh in and record next week's weigh in.0

Yeppers. I can gain upwards of 5 pounds with all the water I retain. It's most unfortunate.0

Trust me you're not the only one! Last month I gained 9 pounds and I finally got it off this week! And guess what's dur agin any minute now? Yep, TOM! Ugh! Sometimes it's tough being a woman but I wouldn't want to be a man!0

It's completely normal and completely unpreventable. Nothing I do ever changes when I'm on my period. I actually go down quite a bit after my period because I was really trying not to gain during. If I stay the same, I'm happy. If I go up more than 4 pounds, I start to freak out.0

I went down at the beginning of the week, but then gained almost 2 pounds I'm hoping in the next day or 2, I will see the # come back down.....sucks!!!0

I don't know how much I gain but I gain a lot. My boobs always grow like a whole cup size and I gain weight. So yes, my answer is yes! I think it's totally normal and you shouldn't even count it.:happy:0
-
I feel like I gain at least 10. I think 4 sounds about right. That's nothing compared to the lovely mood swings though. Or is that just me? lol!0

I always gang that TOM too. It's just water retention, though, and gone by the next week. I wouldn't be concerned unless the weight is accumulating - gaining 5 pounds that TOM and only dropping 2 the following week. Don't worry about it! If you just can't stand to log the gain, just skip that week's weigh-in (although, personally, I think it's a great way to track your body's rhythms).0

Don't weigh myself at that time.0

I started today and weighed about a pound more than yesterday. I"ve never paid much attention before.0
