Good Morning Ladies! I am excited to report a loss, only one pound, but it is a loss and I am pleased. Especially since I have been over on my calories on Sat, Sun, and Mon. And I didn't get in a whole lot of exercise. I was unable to make it to the gym yesterday and we too exhausted to do Wii at home. My uncle passed away early yesterday morning so I was running around all day yesterday trying to ready us for the trip. It is a sad time and I am trying not to let emotional eating grab me here. We will be heading to TN tomorrow for the funeral, so long car trip. I already bought lots of fresh fruits and veggies so we can eat that on the way instead of gas station foder. I don't know how much I will be able to be on here this week, though I will make every effort. I am going to carry my paper food journal just in case I cannot access the one online. It is a bit more difficult since it doesn't have a database, but it will at least help to hold me accountable.
I am not sure if this counts as a love or not, but today I am honored to have been asked to sing one of my uncle's favorite songs at his funeral. It will be difficult to make it through, but I am honored to get the chance.

well... i am really disapointed... i was down to 147 this weekend and totally lost it... JUNK FOOD... erg... so now I am back up to 150.0 but i think most of it is water weight (I didn't drink hardly any water, didn't work out, and ate lots of salty junk)... i wasn't that over in calories but sodium... YIKES! this weekend was a good lesson as always and i am going to get right back on track! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker: WATER WATER WATER for me today! and if i think about it I am actually down 0.2lbs from last tuesday... so that is positive :happy: anyways ladies... have a great day!!!!

I'll be checking in later today after the gym this afternoon. I do not expect to see a loss; I actually expect to see an increase. Had a mini-binge last night. I eat my emotions... when they are out of control, so is my eating. Continuing to talk with husband about how to make him a better person and happy again (he's been in a depression for at least 5 years) and how to move forward to dissolve our marriage. Slow progress, but progress. Hopefully this will help me in taking control back over my emotions and eating. I'm working in "one day at a time" mode.0 -

Great work ladies!!!! I'm down another 1 lb this week to 234. This week my goal is to drin 4 glasses of water each day. I'm really having a hard time with the water thing. I thin that if I make myself drink a glass of water between every drink I have it will work. Wish me luck!

forgot my for the day. I love that despite my horrible weekend I am more motivated than ever to have a GREAT week and get back down to 147 by next weigh in!!!!!!! :bigsmile:

anyways I need some advice ladies and I figured you gals would be able to help with this one so... the BF and I have been dating seriously for 3 years... and we are starting to talk about moving in together... which is great, exciting, wonderful... BUT i am so OCD about my apt.... food ... etc... that i think he may drive me crazy.... I love him to death but really do you have to leave your stuff allllll over the place, and those are NOT groceries... (this is an example of his grocery list: pringles, ice cream, pizza, etc)... granted he is in GREAT shape and eats lots of healthy food along with his share of JUNK.... and I know it is my decision to eat it, but having that stuff in the house really kills me... this weekend alone i put on 3lbs... what will happen if we live together???? yikes. he is all for my healthly life style but he thinks that i look great and can't figure out why i want to loose weight.... sorry for this rant i am just frusterated about this weekend and how it may translate into my full-time routine... i worry that my food/weight frustrations will cause arguments between us that we never had before and i don't want to put myself in a position that i can't deal with right now.... :ohwell: :flowerforyou: sooo... how do you ladies deal with diet differences in the home?????0 -

1. It's a challenge for you. A real life challenge. Build yourself up to it. You can do it. Make him have his own cabinet for his junk food. Outta sight outta mind. His frozen foods can be hidden by a brown paper bag. Those bad foods can be sequestered from general population.
2. Explain to him that it's a condition of the move in.... You need his support on your healthy eating and weight loss, regardless of how he thinks you look. Your self worth is not (solely, at least) based on his thoughts of you, and this is something you are doing for yourself. Communication, communication, communication.

Well I am down from last week ( sorry, I must have forgot to change my ticker last week), but up from my starting weight. Not as bad as I thought though. I have moments during the day where I tell myself I am really going to get with the program, but then I get caught up in the moment and before I realize what time it is, the day is over. .:grumble: I'm not too happy with myself at the moment. :grumble: I swear I will do this.

Hello all. I know I haven't been on here regularly, but been pretty busy or lazy. I'm just in a blah mood ever since my period started and I haven't been able to pick myself back up yet. I'm glad to see everyone doing such a wonderful job. Keep it up. I'm hoping to get back in the groove soon. At least I'm still hovering around the same weight. I weighed in .5 more, no biggy.
Just to let you know Mom's surgery went well. Don't know if she'll be on tonight because she woke up in a lot of pain from them blowing her belly up with air. She has 131 gall stones in her gall bladder, no wonder they needed to take it out.
